Is Trump a psychopath or suffering from senile dementia?

Politicians are notoriously narcs, including and especially Presidents.
The most narcissistic U.S. presidents | Pew Research Center

People act like this is unprecedented. Obama is a raging narc and completely in love with himself. So what? Does having a personality disorder/diagnosis mean we should discriminate against them? Take away their rights? Limit their rights?
How very not ADA.

Is it in the Consitution that a president can't be in office while reccovering from a stroke or alzheimer's disease?
Stroke means the 25th for a time at least..if the stroke is mild. And alzheimers or similar dementia is debilitating as hell and should be an automatic 25th and frankly impeachment if concealed during the election. Also anyone else involved in hiding it should be brought up on fraud charges.

Who else are we going to diagnose because of the way we see them on TV?

Jennifer Lawrence comes off as completely crazy every time she talks about Trump or any other Republican.

Is she crazy, or just acting for the camera to get views and get people riled up?

Please relax. Getting all worked up because Trump claimed to have spent a lot of time in the White House lately (but *gasp* actually spent a day in Texas near the border) is not good for your own mental or physical health. Save that concern for when Trump starts nuking Canada over their dairy tariff levels. ;)

Jesus, ttwtt, calm down. See, this post of yours I am reading in a shrieking voice. That's how I know you are really angry about my posts. Inventing tone is super fun.

Nothing I wrote was remotely "worked up." I pointed out that Trump might be senile. You're the one who is freaking out that everyone else wont stop pointing out his lies.

Maybe you should get a little more worked up over the fact that you got conned into electing a fascist who is losing his mind.

How many lives can Jennifer affect?

Kurt Eichenwald has been reporting on Trump since the 80s. Most of the NY reporters have known about Trump's lying ways for decades. And it seems even people who have worked for him said he was mentally ill years ago.

I wonder what Kurt thinks about the mental issues of Al Gore, Joe Biden, B. Obama, Bill Clinton and, especially, Hillary? Who is this Kurt guy anyway and what difference does it make what he thinks?

Some "lies" deserve attention and concern while others do not. Do you really see some (evil?) intent to deceive in his stating that he has remained in the WH for a couple of months? Likely not, yet you comment on it as if it mattered a lot, none the less.

No idea.

Kurt's an author and journalist, been reporting on Trump for decades. He is simply offering his own insight into his dealings with Trump.

You've proven my point here. He's numbed you to lies because he has told so many.

I think at that moment Trump honestly did not remember, but let's pretend he's not senile and was just lying.

It's not this specific lie that's important. It's the attitude that the lie reflects. He thinks you're stupid enough to believe him, and he thinks he can tell any number of lies, every day, all day, and none of you will care. He thinks that because it's true. You just proved it right here. You're numb to the lies because he tells so many. You don't care what lies he tells. He's lying to you about the wall, he's lying to you about Russia, he's lying to you about trade deals, he's lying to you about China, he's lying to you about North Korea. And you don't care. Because you've been numbed out by the little lies, you don't believe anyone when they tell you about the big ones.

What does that have to do with anything.

I am not surprised you missed my point completely.

So in the latest mental oddities, Trump tells reporters that the Clemson football team can look forward to food from McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King...some pizza. Their favorite food.

:lamo

I’m shocked that you would conflate the POTUS and an entertainment celebrity..........oh, wait, never mind........

You know what they say about elbows and bottom ports.

I saw that.

The man is a colossal idiot. I mean, of a caliber none of us alive today has ever seen.

It would be awesome to see a group photo of the team at a McDonald's saying they decided to skip the WH and get the food right from the source instead.

All of these personality disorders exist on a spectrum. All of us have some tendencies towards one or more of them, to greater or lesser degrees . However, most mental health specialists agree this is a particularly extreme and dangerous case. Never before have 60,000 of them signed a petition warning the public about it, during even the campaign.

My take away is different. I am disgusted by the display of malfeasance on the part of so many "mental health specialists". The level of professional misconduct is astounding. Do they all apply the same methodology? Do they all share the same school of thought? Do they take such extremely careless and reckless measures with their own patients as to not apply rigorous and sound evaluation techniques when they diagnose?
Being in healthcare myself, I see this as a flagrant violation of duty of care and categorically condemn the practice of offering professional diagnosis without personally and rigorously evaluating patients in any evidence-based practice.

Mental health specialists are narcissistic for expressing opinions in their area of expertise? Neurologists can spot someone with Parkinson’s disease from across the room. Orthopedic surgeons can spot someone with arthritis from a mile away. If you are not a mental health specialist, it seems the only narcissism is coming from you, thinking that you can judge people in a whole different field which is not in your specialty.

What’s next? Thinking that you know more about climate change then the unanimous consensus of every single scientific organization on the entire planet?

Oh wait....

Holy crap, where did you come up with that pretzel logic based on what I wrote? You clearly don't have a clue about how to diagnose. Spot arthritis from across the room? What type? RA?
OA?
JRA?

And how would a doctor make a diagnosis of Parkison's without ruling out Progressive Supranuclear Palsy?

Perhaps get a board-certified doctor and stop seeing quacks.

You know what I can spot a mile away? TDS.

Most can spot DTS a few feet away.

Difference between Parkinson’s disease and PSP? A good neurologist can notice the marked asymmetry of tremor which can distinguish the tremor of Parkinson’s from PSP . Difference between RA and OA? Do they have nodes on their finger joints, or is there more of an ulnar deviation of the fingers? What about the presence of subcutaneous rheumatoid nodules?

Besides, distinguishing between between various disorders like Parkinson’s and PSP, or RA and OA is not your argument here. You are denying there is even a problem. We’re looking at someone who can’t even walk properly here, and you are questioning whether there’s anything wrong with the person at all. Or you are saying that someone else in his position had a small mole on the back of their cheek, so this is OK too. And you are questioning specialists in the field who feel comfortable making the diagnosis and telling you there is a very serious problem here .

You don’t need to be a mental health specialist to realize that there’s something very, very wrong here. We can argue whether it’s narcissism or psychopathic personality disorder or something else . But to argue that there is no serious problem at all, you would have to be either blind or very dishonest.

Bet those Clemson players were salivating at the thought of eating cold Big Macs and Filet O'Fish sandwiches!
