Is This A Human Being?

Again, this isn't true. Read the links that have been provided to you. It's an elective procedure and women have a "right" to receive it in many states up to 24 weeks and in some cases beyond. Not all doctors will do it, but some will do it for elective reasons that are not to save the life of the mother. Once the fetus reaches a certain size the safest way to perform the abortion is to kill the baby and then deliver it whole because breaking it up and pulling it out piece by piece runs the risk of not getting it all out of the mother which results in serious health issues. George Tiller is an example of a doctor who would perform an elective late-term/third-trimester abortion on a mother. If you're going to deliver a baby whole anyway why would you support killing it first? Give it a chance at life. Saying it's rare is not a valid reason to support it in those rare circumstances. You can still be pro-choice without supporting elective killings of viable babies. That's evil behavior.

Up to 24 weeks is during the second trimester and before viability.

Second trimester D & E is considered to be a safe and effective medical procedure. Although there are potential complications, they are less frequent than the complications of giving birth.
….
I posted the link to 2008 Kansas abortion stats of all abortion at or after 22 weeks.

See pages 8 and 9

There were 323 abortions at or after 22 weeks.

131 were because the fetus was not viable.

192 abortions were because there would be irreparable damage to one of the woman’s major bodily functions if the pregnacy continued.
…..
Abortions after viability are dangerous because by law the unborn must be dead before contractions are started or extraction begins. After viability the

There are only 4 clinc doctors in United who will provide these abortions after viability at one of 3 clinics.

If the unborn still has a heartbeat, a painless lethal injection is inserted into the heart of the unborn and the doctor must make sure the unborn is dead before before starting labor or starting the extraction.

Anytime the fetus dead within the woman’s body it must be removed in a timely manner of sepsis can set in.
