I say there isn't. They both get their directions from the same lobbyists. They are both relics of the past and you shouldn't vote for either one. In fact I'd vote for the KKK or the Black Panthers before I'd vote for another demo or repo. I'm just that fed up. We've got to get the leaches out of our government and reduce the government and it's spending by magnitudes.

By voting for a group that hates blacks or a group that hates whites...

Wow your wisdom or lack there of knows no bounds...

Any party who got powerful would likely go the same way, the only way that the system could be improved is radical decentralisation and democratisation that also spread into many other facets of our lives like the workplace.

Sure there is a difference, you're voting between big government and big brother.

I would vote Libertarian, but being realistic, I know that they would never win.

So I'll just mope along, and try my best to make sure that the Neocons never come back.

A decade ago it would be easy to know which party was suppose to be big government. It would also have been the party of big brother. Now however I can't tell. Both are big government and big brother. That's another reason I say it's time we vote for *ANY* third party no matter what they represent or how bad their odds are. There are usually some acceptable 3rd party choices though so I would never have to vote KKK or Black Panther. However if they were the only other choice besides the standard Repo or Demo I'd vote for them.

If there were no difference, why is it that bill after bill comes before congress and people are voting different ways on them?

:doh :doh :doh

I'm glad you asked. (And you don't need to say :doh over and over again, I already gathered you needed help.) Just pretend the Democrats are the good cops and the Republicans are the bad cops. Or the other way around if it makes you happier. They'll put on a big show for you in the attempts you'll bond with one side or the other. However both sides are being paid by the same special interest groups at the end of the day. Or in this analogy, both sides at the end of the week pick up their paycheck from the same place...

I would vote for the person whose political beliefs on the issues are closest to mine regardless of the party affiliation..........
