Is the Syrian conflict an occasion for the Third World War?

The aggravation of the Syrian conflict affects the interests of almost all countries of the Middle East. Armed clashes of the Syrian government forces and the opposition have led to the deaths of more than 100 thousand people and can lead to more deaths.
Bundle of contradictions created in the territory of the Syrian conflict looks like a powder keg ready to blow up the Middle East. It attracts Syrian neighboring countries and regions and the situation can develop into the Third world war with the indirect participation of Iran, China and Russia which are not only sided the Syrian government but also protect the world order.
There are many factors develop this scenario. The key role among them is played by the current situation in Syrian neighboring countries such as Turkey, Israel, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon.
For example unresolved Kurdish question has been remaining for decades in Turkey. When Turkey supported the terrorist groups and the Syrian opposition Bashar al-Assad granted 2.5 million Kurds Syrian citizenship. The part of them has voluntarily agreed to join police and paramilitary units. Thus, after the overthrow of the Syrian government Turkey can expect large-scale Kurdish revolt.
There is also a Kurdish factor in Iraq which can be used by «Al –Qaeda» in the striking at the Shiite-led government in Baghdad.
Now it is about 250 thousand Syrian refugees in Jordan. This situation can lead to social unrest in the case of the Bashar al-Assad’s overthrow.
Israel contributes to the disintegration of Syria and to the creating of the new political power instead of the Bashar al-Assad regime by supporting of the opposition including obvious terrorists, provocations and terrorist acts on the Syrian territory. This means that the terrorists may turn against the hated regime in Israel after the seizure of power in Syria.
Bloody confrontation in Lebanon which began because of the Syrian conflict continues to escalate due to religious and political contradictions. There are about 40 thousand Syrian refugees in Lebanon. It can also serve as a complication of the social environment after the overthrow of the Syrian government.
It should also be noted that there are many Muslims among the U.S. population. They are unhappy with the U.S. government policy in the Middle East and attempts to invade Syria to overthrow the Bashar al-Assad regime in particular. 60 % of the U.S. people against to solve the Syrian conflict by military means. Further deterioration of the situation in the Middle East can lead to rapid spread of riots and demonstrations. The U.S. government is unknowingly digging its own grave...
Thus, the military intervention of the U.S. and its allies in the internal affairs of Syria will lead to disastrous consequences in the Middle East and a large-scale regional war which can involve major world powers.

Ludicrous fantasy.

From Israel I bet.

One may speculate and you have as to such a scenario, facts are not given, simply opinion. I find your opinion -hypothesis interesting, but rather unlikely. Many years ago *( yom kippur war), with Russia supplying then as now, Syria and Egypt, Israel faced a surprise attack and a nuclear war was imminent in the region.. Israel was determined not to be wiped out and had nukes on the ready as did the Soviets.

The enemies have neither changed nor improved much one way or another. What is for sure is that Islam is bent on tearing itself apart. Nothing new there except for the "Arab Spring" designation in all the effected Arab countries. (Egypt once was a predominantly Christian country.)

Sectarian strife, terrorism, murder is continuing as it has for centuries. Arab spring has brought the fundamentalist- sharia brotherhood and more secular Muslims in violent conflict with each other. Christians-Kurds-and Arabs-Iranians-Turks and as always, Jews etc. will all bear a cost since Israel becomes a target and must be prepared regardless who the antagonists of the region are.
What we are witness to is wholesale slaughter of Arabs by their own Islamic governments. Imagine a world dominated by such as these!

I believe it started with the Shah-Iran and then the aggressive military moves by Saddam. (The Gulf War was stopped too soon. Saddam should have been unseated. dumb move by the U.N. US led forces.

Care to provide some evidence of Israeli influence as claimed? I

Pointing a finger at "THE US AND ITS ALLIES" is pure hyperbole. You choose to ignore the influence of Iran, Russia for your purpose.

If the Yom Kippur war didn't result in a nuclear war I doubt Syria's current problem could. We were much closer then. Israelis were 99 km from Cairo. Egypt army was about to be decimated, and Syria was hanging by their scrotum.

Mark the anniversary!

Wikipedia.

, also known as the 1973 Arab–Israeli War, was a war fought by the coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria against Israel from October 6 to 25, 1973.

The war began when the Arab coalition launched a joint surprise attack on Israeli positions in the Israeli-occupied territories on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism, which occurred that year during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Egyptian and Syrian forces crossed ceasefire lines to enter the Sinai Peninsula and Golan Heights respectively, which had been captured by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War. Both the United States and the Soviet Union initiated massive resupply efforts to their respective allies during the war, and this led to a near-confrontation between the two nuclear superpowers.[35]

ME has been burning and it is not hard to guess it will cause another world war

The ME has always been burning for decades and it has not caused a world war yet.
Mind you it will take something very extraordinary such as the annihilation of all of the US carriers, or most likely of all, the destruction of all nuclear weapons to trigger a world war. The only reason why world war isn't happening is because of those nukes.

The ME is a pile of crap. Russia nor China will go to war for backwards theocratic totalitarian regimes. You are vastly overestimating the influence of hairy-backed mouth breathers.
