Yes or no? My opinion; is no. Obama hasn't done much to be proud of. He has signed a few bills, and is trying to get this health care plan passed but he hasn't done much else.

I don't agree with everything he does, but he is my Commander-in-Chief and I am going to support him weather I like him or not.

He is a failure. He has done no good and much harm. He is an embarrassment to this country and to the Oval Office.

The sooner he vacates the Oval Office and slides back into ignominious irrelevancy the better it will be for this country.

I think he has done more good than bad, but has made some pretty serious mistakes. Tax cheat in the cabinet, stimulus passed too fast, and has things that don't belong in it, rushing health care plan when now is not a good time for the added expense are things I really don't like.

I think he's done pretty good overall. I'd like him to be slightly more liberal on homosexual issues (specifically, repealing DADT and a firm stance in favor of gay marriage), but I like a lot of the stuff he's done.

I think Obama's doing good, at least as well as I expected him to so far given the huge problems he was faced with from day 1.

I just love it when people say, "oh, poor Obama he had so much to deal with from the start, poor him." (not a direct quote from you or anyone else for that matter), and they blame nothing on him.

Then as soon as Bush gets elected 9/11 happens and everyone blames him for everything including the death of American soldiers.

This isn't about Bush at all, but just that people don't blame Obama for anything that he's done except for a few key conservatives (Rush Limbaugh, etc.)

In the overall scheme of things he has done poorly in my opinion. That being said, he has made a few good calls and handled a few situations well. I am undecided but lean towards no more heavily than yes. I will say this, it's been under a year and I don't like what I see overall, but his term isn't up yet so I will reserve final judgement till at least the next congress.

I agree.

I don't expect Obama to do anything ground breaking on the economy, other then level it off (as any President should), but I do expect him to get America's foreign policy out of the ditch that Bush drove it into. He's got charisma and social skills which are great for the PR side of America.

So Bush got our foreign policy into a ditch? Huh, okay. So tell me why our allies are still sticking with us?

Should we befriend the nations that hate us? I agree in making friends with them if we can, but if they allow people to live in their country that fly planes into our buildings and try to kill Americans, and they do NOTHING about it.... why should we make allies?

Personal opinion: No.

But I'm watching, and who knows, he might change my opinion in the future.

As to how you define "good". In this case, I define "good" as: How close to my personal prefrence Pres. Obama's actions are

I don't see Obama's econ policy as leveling off the economy, I see those decisions making things worse, if the economy levels off it would be because it hit it's natural equilibrium point, no matter who is in office or what they do that point exists. As for foreign policy, I don't personally care how the world views what we do as long as it is in our best interests and legitimate, although I would like to keep our allies happy, it shouldn't be the key point in dealing with the United States' affairs.

Overall I am happy so far. He's playing way to middle of the road for me...but I basically expected that, although I secretly hoped he would move to the left.

Foreign policy, I have to agree with most of all. He's done a good job so far repairing the damage that GWB did to this country with his gun-slinging cowboy mentality. I feel much safer with Obama at the head than I ever did with Bush.

Economy - I think he's on the right road...we'll see in a few months how the economy reacts.

Healthcare - I wish he would be a little stronger. Congress is being the typical spineless wimps that they generally are. Obama needs to pressure them to pass meaningful healthcare reform, not some half-assed compromise.

I voted undecided because it's still too early to tell, but I did believe from the start that the two party system in the U.S. does not guarantee much difference in leadership, regardless of who you vote for. Given that, I'm not at all convinced that the Republicans would have done a better job. When the economy is tanking, whoever is in charge will naturally take a lot of heat.

Most of the beef I have with Obama is surrounding the excess of the stimulus plans, but only a fraction of the planned stimulus money has been spent so far. If the economy shows signs of recovery but the excess spending continues, then my views may change.

I do enjoy how his social policy is very direct with little deliberation. His views don't create a media storm to polarize the people. The issues are just brought up, and then dealt with immediately. Then he moves on to other things.

He is doing a good job of moving this country towards a European style of socialist government. So my answer is no. I do admit he handled the pirate incident well. And I agree with him that marriage should be between a man and a woman as it has always been.

Because we are the biggest and powerful nation in the world. Even the rich and powerful douchebag in high school has friends, and it's not because he's a douche.

Are we at war with Saudi Arabia or are we allies? The majority of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi's.

I never said we were at war with Saudi Arabia or our allies, but Saudi Arabia is actually trying to do something about the terrorist that live in their country, and most of them are now in Afghanistan.

I was mostly speaking of Afghanistan in the first place.

I never said you said that. You brought of the terrorists and where they are from, which is Saudi Arabia, and that we shouldn't be allies with these types of countries, which we are.

Afghanistan has been in civil war since the 70's and is a haven for terrorists do to the wide spread semi-anarchy. I don't expect much to be done by the "leaders" of the country, which is why I fully support our presence there.

He is doing a darn good job considering the huge mess he inherited from Bush.

I am afraid that the terrible things inherited from Bush and that Right wing dominated congress, may have damaged us beyond repair.
