"Jesus Christ: superstar" is a musical by Andrew Loyd weber and had a film adaptation made during the 1970's

My question is this: are some of the things portrayed in "Jesus Christ: superstar" controversial?

Here is a clip from the film, dipicting the character Judas Iscairiot singing "heaven on their minds"

if you want you can find controversy in anything just like you can be offended by anything.
people need to suck it up and grow some skin.

At the time, some Christians found the "superstar" reference offensive. I personally found that seeing the film strengthened my walk with Jesus.
