Is it the 'Christian' thing to call for killing all the "homos"? [W:59]

I drove by this idiot's church today, there were over 100 people out in front protesting, and cars honking to support the protesters.

This guy is a real tool.

I bet a lot of those people protesting were Christians too. I can't see how this person can be considered a 'mainstream' Christian. As such, I will not judge Christianity by his example.

I know there was a rabbi there with his temple's folk, and lots of others, christian, athiest, etc.

Any person who denies that there is a movement in this country to deny equal rights to LGBT citizens simply ain't paying attention to what's happening. Of course those who are promoting this type of legislation claim it is nothing more than protecting their religious freedom. Evidently "religious freedom" has come to mean the right to discriminate against those you don't like based on some fanciful interpretations of an ancient text.

Nor should anybody. This is one preacher who is self-educated and has no formal theological training. From his church's site: "He holds no college degree but has well over 140 chapters of the Bible memorized word-for-word, including approximately half of the New Testament. Today, most Baptist churches are started by Bible colleges. However, the Bible makes it clear that the church is the pillar and ground of the truth, not a school." Talk about self-justification and rationalization. This guy must be loving all the attention.
