It makes no difference whether he is not. He is still having the same effect on his followers.
True but you could argue the wacky far right has always been there but sidelined by more center mainstream republicans. Even advertisers are running away from Fox News because they are becoming associated with scams like Goldline.
It's weird how the ones who say he's fake are the very ones who complain about things he says. If he's fake then he doesn't believe what he says, so why are you complaining?? :doh

Because it's dangerous for a society made up by mostly ignorant people to follow somebody who is even more ignorant. Do you think Glenn Beck actually cares about what he's saying? This is a guy who makes a paycheck by getting people too dumb to think for themselves to come to his rallies. I mean honestly, wake up. The overwhelming majority of people who actually 'follow' talk show hosts of any ideology are too dumb to actually look at issues for themselves. It's the reason people watch Olberman, Hannity, O'Reilley, Oprah, Dr. Phil. It's because they're too ignorant to go to their local library and make up their own minds on the subject. I equate people who watch and defend talk shows to university kids who pretend to be socialists only the stupidity comes from a completely different place.
I have no doubt he's a fake. While I do believe to a degree he does believe in a lot of what he says, he does ham it up and exaggerate quite a bit. He was not as bad as when he was on CNN, so I think that speaks volumes.
I think it's completely ridiculous to label a group of people stupid, dumb or ignorant simply because they listen to a radio show or watch a TV show everyday.
It's not because they watch him. It's because they mindlessly parrot his rhetoric on internet bulletin boards.

I could just as easily call someone dumb because they decided to go to college to learn instead of just going to the library and figuring it all out for themselves. I wouldn't do that, of course, because that would be incredibly stupid.
There is absolutely zero wrong with listening to a person discuss his or her opinion. Just listening to that person doesn't make the listener stupid, nor does that mean the listener DOESN'T read for himself. I read CONSTANTLY. Everything. I'm not stupid.

Yes, and the anti-Beck people on here mindlessly accuse every single Beck listener of being stupid.
Only the ones who indicate, through their rhetoric, that they are, in fact, stupid.
Which, as far as I can tell, the anti-Beck people here believe is.....all of them.
