If you were a professional horse breeder and your young stud that you had invested a small fortune in was only interested in attempting to breed other males, would you say it had a birth defect?

Currently a socially accepted disorder; nurture not nature.

faux must be talking about homosexuality tonight. I wonder if it's because of the uhaul nazis.

Maybe that's where they're getting the talking points that those guys aren't real.

No!

Artifical Insemination for Horses

Because it can be difficult to transport horses long distances for breeding, many farms and stallion owners offer shipped frozen semen for artificial insemination and impregnating mares. Our sister site Stallions Now features stud listings for many stallions and if you have a farm or stallion and would like to advertise your stud's services, you can advertise your stallions for free.

Whether you find gayness to be a desirable characteristic or not is purely a matter of opinion. It's not a birth defect, it's just a trait people can have.

Here's an idea. Answer the OP question and then change the subject if you start to lose a debate that follows.

Defect? No. A defect implies that a person is somehow challenged as a result. So, no, not a defect.

Are freckles birth defects?

That would be questioning the wisdom of the manufacturer, yes?

Here's another idea: It's a deviation from the norm but it's a "standard deviation". That means science expects to see it and that it's not harmful to the species, or a sign of harm TO the species.
It's no different than red hair, or the lack of ability to roll one's tongue, or attached earlobes instead of free swinging ones.

And yes, it does exist in the rest of the animal kingdom.
