Is Barack Obama a Black Separatist?

Jim Kouri has posted a piece here repeating a claim (possibly fabricated by the Clinton smear machine) that Illinois Democrat Senator Barack Obama is a closet Muslim.

In his defense, a liberal calling himself (herself?) "Midwestern Progressive" informs us that Barack Obama is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. The church's website is here: http://www.tucc.org/about.htm

According to that website, Trinity United Church of Christ appears to be a black separatist congregation, deliberately segregating itself from the larger community. Notice that there's no commitment in that church community to the larger community, only to the black community.

Sure sounds like it to me, replace the word black with the word white and that church sounds akin to Aryan Nations.

Just a quick question. Do you normally call people by their middle names or are you trying to establish a link between Barack and Saddam? Just curious because you seem to call everyone else by their First name. I haven't seen you yet refer to Bush as Walker Bush.

He was generally referred to as Bush Jr even though he was not a Jr or Shrub by the likes of Molly Ivans, and I can think of some more invectives used by the left.

That may be the case, but the white pride organizations that HAVE been formed are ALL racist. I don't know a single exception to this rule. The same cannot be said of all black pride organizations; plenty of them exist that don't hate the white man or anything like that.

<edit> well after more research it isn't at all clear. Seems in most interviews Barack has said his faith and church are the UCC but the trinity church may just be a member of the UCC, hard to tell. Perhaps the trinity church is the closest UCC in his neighborhood? I don't know but I wouldn't elect him anyway so it matters not.
