100% of the conservative groups were targeted and scrutinized or whatever other word you choose for mistreated on the basis of their politics. None of the (very few) lefty groups was inconvenienced in any way. If your defense really is the semantic dodge you have used so far then it looks like you're done.

That leaves 196 “potential political cases” whose political leanings we don’t know. They could be liberal. They could be conservative. They could be communist.

Psst: try to keep up. Issa contacted George numerous times DURING George's so-called investigation about the investigation. It is inappropriate to do so, and may be a criminal office for both of them: evidence tampering, obstructing justice.

Deflection. It's all you got. It was improper for a Issa to contact a GOP operative carrying on an investigation. The only issue now is whether he and George broke the law, or were merely unethical.

Entirely false, and laughable besides. The duly elected Chairman of the appropriate Congressional committee was in touch with a duly elected Inspector General. This is what's called "good government." You should study it.:mrgreen:

The Tower Commission has always been looked at as a "crony job" because a Republican led the investigation and allegedly softened the finding. If a Dem would have done this investigation, no one would have believed it.
