obviously Jack hasn't followed it very well either ... I think the years are finally catching up to us ... maybe this will help ... Jack favors people having as much free speech and power as they can buy, and I don't ...
You continue to underestimate the differences in our principles.
trust me Jack, I don't underestimate our differences ... they couldn't be more glaring ...

Citizens with means are an effective counterweight to state power.

That is your claim, but your posts suggest otherwise.

Juvenile? Jack ... now that's juvenile ... labeling something juvenile because it's spot on and you have no response? Tsk Tsk. But you do try ... and keep trying ... even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while ...

I advanced a serious political thought, that significant private means are a strong impediment to overweening state power, and all you reply with is sloganeering. Yes, that's juvenile.

I don't know how an old CIA guy like you can be so sensitive ... it's not an insult, but rather a fact of life ...
did you hear about the release of documents Issa wanted to suppress ... that's turning into a zoo, but with Issa heading the witch hu, I mean the investigation, what else should we have expected?

Issa is standing up for orderly procedure. Cummings is the one playing politics. Issa has not tried to suppress anything; he only wants to hold all the documents back until the investigation is completed, as is proper procedure and as any competent investigator would recommend.
