They would not have said no, but like Somalia, they would not have committed and would, in the end, leave us alone with only our truest allies to help...and it wouldn't be enough. Unless we are willing to finish the job, we would only wind up causing more harm than good - again, I mention Somalia. Africa demands everyone's attention, because everyone shares some blame. From America's tearing apart of families through slavery to Europe's raping of resources through colonization and then just leaving, we all have had something to do with it. Ultimately, rich Africans seeking more power through military use and "devine" Islamic militants are to blame.

This is also very true. Germany, isnt supposed to have a military but they are allowed to protect themselves. Insodoing, they have a military and they have had a presence in africa for over a hundred years now. Most of the time being in africa was mostly just for occupation reasons. But gysgt is right on. In a indirect way we all have had some responsibility for the way things are going, but again we shouldnt use that as a crutch to be passive over situations like these. Furthermore, if we end up being passive, just in its passiveness alone will bring heartache and troubles down the road. Thats most of Americas prolem today is we are too dam lazy anymore. Laziness and passiveness are also whats going to kill this nation if we dont start working hard to work together in eliminating these problems.

But he came back after Empress Josphine died and boy did they miss him after having a taste of "Louis XVIII" Within a few months he rebuilt the Grande Armie and it was even bigger than the first one. Ah such glory.
