Iran sends troops into Iraq to aid fight against Isis militants

The article said an undisclosed number of staffers. That probably means people that the embassy really didn't need in the first place. But I would wager the vast majority are still there.

Looks like only essential personnel now.....plus we sent in 100 more Marines and Soldiers. 3 Plane loads were sent out is what I heard. Plus State is warning Americans about being vigilant and warning about Kidnappings.

I have seen the state department keep their people on the too long before. Let's face it, I really don't have much trust in their judgement.

What did we expect would happen? Unless you are willing to commit troops to Iraq for the next generation or two and continue to spend billions of dollars and American lives, we had to leave sometime. These guys need to figure this out on their own. If they have to have help from the Iranians, I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. To hell with Iraq.
