IPCC Report Reveals 'Bleak and Brutal Truth' About Climate Emergency

Wow
Right wing propaganda is very effective

Right wing media has brainwashed at least one third of the American population.

The ability to deny what is right in front of them because their favorite right wing pundit tells them it is a lib lie doesn't speak well of their intelligence

The above was borrowed from Threegoofs.

Just one example

Accounting for the amount of CO2 produced during solar panel manufacturing, solar panels generate, in effect, around 50g of CO2 per kilowatt hour during their initial years of operation. This is about 20 times less than the carbon output of coal-powered electricity sources.

Deny what and please be specific..

Do you know what you are referring to by chance? Did you even look at the source material in your link?

Did you think this was global, or the USA? Did you think it was financial outlays only?

Please do give us specifics, instead of agenda driven material and thought.

The specific is that fossil fuels are subsidized to the tune of $5.9T. You do realize that the US is subject to what the world market dictates, right? These subsidies will reduce as they gravitate toward renewables. Maybe you can complain about those subsidies.

The global subsidies don't matter when referring to the USA.

Included in that is welfare for poor people, heating their homes

There are direct subsidies to individuals that qualify which are not counted as subsidies to the fossil fuel industry and thus not in the 5.9T figure. Everything else is a subsidy to the industry, whether meant to be a pass-down to individuals, by which the industry benefits so that there is no cost to them for any pass-down.

If something is a meme does not mean it isn't fact. Your post attch may catch on and be a meme but does not apply in this case as you cannot refute the fact of what I say.
Wow it took you a month to reply this time, youre losing your touch again. And as far as what you say, its nothing but BS, so you deserve a nonsense meme.

The global market does. And thereby the US subsidies to be competitive in the global market. The balance of subsidies is shifting to renewables worldwide and in the US. That's not a coincidence.

We shouldn't subsidize renewables either.

As usual, you disinform. You have a problem with fact. Then build your case from there. See you on another thread.

You want me to wait another 3 weeks before you can figure out how to reply again?

In which case we would not be able to shift more of our energy source away from dependence on fossil fuel and lose the fight against global warming. If it weren't for govt subsidy, we wouldn't have airports and national highways, among other things.

Well, there are plenty of people who don't see it as a problem big enough to worry. Especially spend tax dollars on.

Now if you want to get with like-minded people, and collect money to subsidize these efforts, then do so. Just stop demanding everyone contribute to your pet project.

No doubt we have a problem, have identified the cause and know what we need to do about it.

Unfortunately it seems we don't have the will to do what is necessary.

As an individual best path is to prepare for the inevitable. Really terrible what we have left for our children and our children's children to deal with.

I am not sure we have identified the problem, and the proposed solutions will not fix ether the imagined,
or the actual problem. Our problem is sustainable energy, CO2 emissions are merely a symptom of our energy demand.
We cannot fix our energy problem by addressing the symptom.

Another false assumption. I didn't even read your post for 3 wks so I couldn't have been "figuring" it out during that time. You're being nonsensical, again.

It's the only reason it would take you 3 weeks to reply is because you're trying to figure out what anyone says.
