I have read that 83% of the Trump tax cut of one trillion dollars went to the top 10%. that means that if we just changed the tax code to eliminate the tax cut that went to the top 10% we could cut the annual deficit by 830 billion dollars. So we could reduce the annual deficit by close to 830 billion dollars without effecting the bottom 90% of income earners. Tell me why we should not do so as these are the people who earned money during the pandemic, many of the 90%fell behind?
