Insurgent attacks down

Navy Pride said:
I guess the question that begs to be asked is why you hear very little in the mainstream media that attacks are down in Iraq..........They are very quick to tell us when attacks are up........

Because they just can't stand it as illustrated by this thread they will try to rationalize it away or dismiss it out of hand. The left has totally invested themselves in failure in Iraq and they will never ever admit we were right to do what we did. BTW did you hear ABC put out a phoney translation of the Saddam tapes? Here they have clear evidence of how dangerous he was and they want to cover it up.

Sure but why start in oil rich Iraq? Why not Sudan? Why not ***** where little kids are dying? Why not Cuba a mile away from us. Why not N. Korea with Nuclear weapons. There are far worse killings in other countries. Oil is the reason we chose Iraq. It's the only difference in between Iraq and those other countries where people are starving. For me, oil is not a good reason to put 2000+ American soldiers lives on the line.

Go and read the Iraqi Liberation Act and the UN resolutions and they will explain it all to you.

Well yes there were, in Afghanistan. How many are too many in Afgahnistan? How about training accidents how many Marines killed in training accidents are too many?

Afghanistan we were actually fighting for something. We were trying to find he terrorist who killed 1000's of Americans. Then we decided to be like a kid with ADD and run after someone else letting him plot in peace.

How many were too many in Afghanistan, you quanitify Iraq let's hear about Afghanistan. How many killed in training accidents is too many?

You don't think our military is trying?

Nope. Pulling out troops isn't going to solve anything because more marines are dying.

And the premises for you conclusion that our military is not trying to fix things that don't go the way they are planned?

Yeah I head from the guy that did the original translation that ABC changed the translation when they interpreted the tapes...............

That does not surprise me though...........

Just flip to Fox. Conservatives can hear anything they want on Fox. Besides, ususally when the attacks are down, they surge back up again and continue a cycle of going down and back up.

You just can't stand it can you. Things are getting better, progress is being made, everyday more and more evidence confirming the reasons Saddam was removed. You just have too much invested in our failing in Iraq.

It will be a total disaster to people like him when we win the war in Iraq..........He is right out of the Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore playbook.......

Hey there, how are things going in Iraq?
Comparing targets of U.S. military operations in Iraq

Iraqis really need a strong friend like America.

But unfortunately, we are only aware of America as a military might in Iraq. We have seen nothing of America’s other side – the country which fights for equity, democracy, civilization, spread of science and technology and other human values.
