In the context of recent events it seems to me that further development of our “cooperation” with USA can not be profitable for Bulgaria at all. On the contrary! It becomes dangerous and devastative practice. See for yourself!
According to US freak we have not only become disable to have own A-plant that makes us dependent from EU energetical charities, but now we also have to bring constant offerings at the direction of our overseas friends. Our latest sop was designed for Afghanistan. Bulgaria has provided the Afghan army quantity of arms and ammunitions to the amount of 8 mln. US dollars! Might we not sell out this military equipment to Afghani government in order to enlarge our thin treasury? Surely! But Bulgarian prosperity is excluded from US plans. Previously under pressure of NATO (where the primary initiator of arms supplies to Georgia was the USA) Bulgaria has sold for a song large lot of obsolete Soviet armament to the republic of Georgia.
How can’t our authorities understand that such new allies try to turn Bulgaria into a bleeding country? And this is done with single aim: to incapacitate us from pursuing independent policy, turning Bulgaria into controllable state…
