Some saw it as a copout, I saw it as a strength that we should all attempt to emulate. He knew not to go on and on over "nothing" in the grander scheme of of all things called life. Make your point and know when to call it. He had an uncanny ability to this, not always appreciated by some, but as they say, a good man knows his limitations. Overitall was a good man.So true, Watsup...he was a kind, loving, and gentle man...it also explains to a great degree why he refused to argue/fight with others, he would simply bid them to have a good day and he walked away...he had much more positive ways to spend his final days in this life...
Love ya, OIA and I will miss you greatly but it is not good-bye...until we meet again my friend .
I feel so blessed to have known him, Trix...I sure hope and pray we will...Some saw it as a copout, I saw it as a strength that we should all attempt to emulate. My prayer for Overitall....
Eternal and loving God, giver of life and hope and peace: We thank you today for a life well lived. We thank you for the life of Overitall, and for all he brought to our world. We thank you for his relationships, for his talents, for his energy, for his love, and for the example he set for every life he touched along the way.
It gives us pause, O Lord, when we face the death of someone so close. It seems almost impossible to think that he is gone now. But even in this hour, when we recognize his death, we so clearly remember and cherish his life… Give us the assurance of your presence as we remember and as we grieve and then, as time passes, as we heal. Let his life, who touched ours so profoundly, be honored this day and always held dear in our hearts. Amen.
Amen.amen.
I am blessed too and grateful. Let us pray, Daisy, in complete confidence.I feel so blessed to have known him, Trix...I sure hope and pray we will...

Here is part of Overitall's last PM to me:
Courage! I’m trying to show my faith by being strong throughout this journey. I want people to know that God is good even when faced with trials. Amen!

In Memory of Our so Lovable Overitall I went to his favorite thread The Check In/Check Out Thread. To find my first memory of his kindness to me.
I started at the beginning of the thread to find that memory. Finally found his post to me.
April 11, 2022 Post# 2,122 “Great gif Charis!” “Btw -- I noticed the time stamp difference between this post and your previously one. You getting enough sleep?”
My Lovable Overitall was concerned about me not getting enough sleep. That one post was the beginning of my many memories of a very loving caring man.
There are many examples of his kindness in multiple threads. I’m thankful that we will be able to read them in Remembrance of Our Loveable Overitall.
Dear Heavenly Father, in this time of sorrow, we lift our weary hearts to You. We ask for Your loving embrace to surround his grieving family.
May they find solace in Your constant presence and feel the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
O Lord, grant them strength for each step of the way. This we pray in The Name of Jesus. Amen So be it Hallelujah Praise The Lord!

He was 2 years younger than me, Tosca...69...I'm wondering, how old was OIA?
I had assumed that he was around the same age as me and Daisy.
