I don't know enough about politics to refute that, but it sounds like a lot of hollow partisan sniping, to me. Unless you can explain with some detail how Biden's cabinet caused Putin to pounce, when they have orchestrated devastating economic sanctions on Russia and given billions in military aid to Ukraine, I'm skeptical.

Can we get one thing straight? Russia took Crimea in 2014. Even math disabled me can remember that. A poster who gets something that fundamental wrong isn't exactly wowwing me with their expertise.

First, many tyrants (such as the monster in the Kremlin) are contemptuous of women. They were not shaking in their boots when she spoke those totally vacuous words.

Second, Her Excellency the Vice President is not exactly blessed with gravitas. So those same tyrants were no doubt laughing with derision as she stood there next to Poland's president.

P.S. Has a nation ever been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? The kindness of the Polish people in the wake of Russia's rape of Ukraine is literally bringing tears to many people's eyes.

I just saw (on FOX) that part of the news conference.

I have NO doubt that even some sincere Dems were genuinely shocked by her laughter.

I know nothing about psychology, but I assume it was nervous laughter, i.e., in her heart she realizes that she is out of her element when it comes to such serious matters.
