Wow, you managed to not only compare two completely unrelated issues, but you managed to oversimplify both of them, all in a single poll. Does anyone actually identify with the label "anti-environment"? Don't be ridiculous.

Kandahar, you are now on my honor list. :)

What? I for one hate the environment. I also want as many people as possible to immigrate illegally.

On second thought this poll sucks.

?eh?

Is that pro-legal-controlled-immigration, or pro-illegal-dirt-trash-uncontrolled-invasion?

Is that pro-if-the-government-owned-all-the-land-we'd-be-in-Nirvana-environment or pro-damn-doesn't-the-property-owner-own-the-land-environment?

What a way to write a totally meaningless in irrelevant poll.

You can't be pro-illegal-dirt-trash-uncontrolled-invasion and pro-if-the-government-owned-all-the-land-we'd-be-in-Nirvana-environment , though. Look at all the damage the damn invaders are doing to the land they're trampling through. Go to the beaches in California, and watch where the hispanics cluster. They're the most littered places in the evening.

Well actually, the two are very much related. Increased immigration and population growth put a great deal of stress on our natural resources and environment. Arguably, population growth is the greatest single threat to our environment.

Also, as "Wise-Use" is a synonym for anti-environmental protection, there is a significant number of pro-exploitation Republicans who could easily be identified with the label "anti-environment".

The usual NO VOTE again.
This poll is attempting to be controlling , a wrong thing to do !
The question is very complex, a balance must exist between reality and man's dream world. And of course I would never associate myself with any silly "green" party or an "immigration" party:rofl

The reason I started this thread was that the issues of the environment and immigration reductions go hand in hand but there are verry view politicians who will take those stances. The republican party is dominated by corporate interest, so they want what is best for business. The democrats, are dominated by multi-cultural special interst, and view new immigrants and new members. This is why we need a viable third option. I think that the Reform Party is the only party that fits this category, and Wyatt Chesney is the only candidate for president in 2008 who is pro-environment and for limited immigration and border security. http://www.reformparty.org/phpbb
Also the first link is for the discussion I put on the topic at the RP forum.

Southern Democrat has it right but he is with the wrong party.

Being pro-immigrant does not, by itself, make a man anti-environment.
Nor does being pro-exploration necessary hurt our surroundings.
It is natural that our population increase, but this can be controlled by a higher standard of living..
A reasonable balance must be maintained..
Does our government still do silly things to encourage un-necessary population growth ?
Such as the rather high exemption for each child ???
We can learn from China and Brazil(two different areas)...
