Yes, since that is commonly done following arrests for many (if not all) other alleged crimes. Take a look in your county jail and see how many intact families are serving their time together there.

First of all: They are not immigrants. They are illegal aliens.
Immigrants = Good
Illegal Aliens = Bad
Second: When you commit a crime you get thrown in jail. Are you suggesting that kids get thrown into jail with their parents? Crossing the border illegally is a federal crime, in case you didn't know.
We have lots of American's in prisons across America with prisoners who were separated from their kids when they were arrested. Should we throw all their kids into their cells with them?
So you are in favor of throwing kids into prison with their parents when their parents are arrested for committing a crime. You're not too bright are you

Using your logic, if you make "family" the standard of entry, everyone in the world that steps into our border with a "family" is entitled to live here, be educated, be policed, be fed, be cured, etc. What did that person do for us except violate our borders so they can compete in our unskilled job market?
