Yeah, I think part of the problem is that posts seem to be formatted really weirdly now.
I'm having trouble reading them, especially the longer ones.
I can read them over and over, and still not really comprehend them.
Like, you'll have a block of text that's only two-inches wide, and a foot long.
WTF's that about?
Even my posts look that way half the time, and I can't even read them.

I miss the old board, but more than that I miss some of the old members, who were gone even before we moved here.
Certain people breathed life into the place, at least for me.
At present, the forum's only half alive.
I've been here many years, and know that if I am patient, new interesting forum members will eventually replace the ones who are gone.
But yeah; the wait can be depressing.

Stats will be coming again for logged in members when we upgrade to the latest version. At this point, it will probably be next Tuesday or Thursday morning.

Thanks system - has issues. We were unaware that the "thanks" reports did not work on the new software. It was presented simply as an upgrade from the older modification. I am at fault for not verifying full functionality on this one before we upgraded. However, I am working on a system that will allow us this info again. OR, we may go to another thanks system. Work in progress, but is high on the priority list.

Yes, I think bells and whistles do add for enjoyment. I'm not a heavy debater, by any means. I enjoy dipping into conversations, creating a few polls, and enjoying a little camaraderie, enhanced by bells and smells. It gives me the brain high that I crave, that addictive release of chemicals at my neural synapses.

That's what it's all about for me. I've been getting it at another forum lately, but haven't given up on this one.
