Jail guards at County are major assholes!

I worked in the Department of Corrections at one point.

I was taught never to let my guard down. We have to make sure that the line between guard and con is maintained.

We are NOT there to be friends.

Being this way keeps us alive.

A felon in county is just as dangerous as a felon at the state or federal pen.

Ted Bundy was housed in the Garfield COUNTY jail before he escaped and wound up on death row in Florida.

That depends on how you're classified.

If you're a felon in county and put in the gang-module (where it is all about respect), as long as you don't dis' anyone, you'll be okay.

If you're a felon in prison and put on the level 3 yard, you need to worry about some youngblood wanting to make a name for himself at your expense.
 

There is some truth to that.

Although, the gang wings are also about skin color. If you're a white man in the wrong part of the block, you are as good as dead.
