can you still say this was just like tourists visiting the capital or a walk in the park? an you still say that with a straight face and not a huge lie? If you can you truly are a cult member.

The ability of some folks to deny reality never ceases to amaze me.
 
It's been bizarre, seeing some of them denying these men while all year sticking up for every abusive cop committing abuses against suspects.

Incredible hypocrisy, so blindly agenda-driven. And such sickening disrespect for the way these men, doing their jobs, are being expressed.

It's difficult to understand; at least for me anyway. Clear facts don't seem to matter; they just don't.
 
The right does not care… at all.

All they have is spin, Republicans are all in on their new White Nationalism leader determined to repeat some of the paths of the Nazi Party.

Getting rid of the dems and all the brown and black people is still issue #1, at all costs. They need to be jailed, one by one, for a very long time.
 
A lot of the same people on her denying 1/6 was a coup. Terrorist attack/insurection were the same ones telling us about how 1/6 was coming and there will be action...

It is the left saying that. But, they were mostly peaceful protesters with several getting out of hand, just like in the summer riots, mostly peaceful protests, even though much violence happened, police were attacked, their stations burned down, vandalism and looting on a massive scale, swaths of territory being taken over from the US government and turned into lawless zones, and federal court buildings were being over run. But, they were mostly peaceful protests.

In any event, do you believe that these hearings will change the minds of anyone on the right? Or, are you going to admit this is just a show investigation to be followed by a kangaroo court?

When are they going to explain why they were so unprepared when they knew in advance about the possible demonstrating at the capital? Why were the National Guard troops ordered to do traffic duty instead of help control the crowd? Why were capital police not issued riot gear? Why were fences not put up around the capital prior to the demonstrations? Ask Pelosi, the capital police report to her.

Guess it was beyond anybody's expectation that American citizens would actually attempt an insurrection

Seems like an investigation is a good idea then, right? Esp, so it doenst happen again?

So then why have the Republicans resisted the idea?
