Shocking. They still make Polaroid instant film?!A few more for your list
Seven all-American products that are actually 'Made in Europe'
Trump’s tariffs are aimed at ostensibly boosting US production and fostering a “local for locals” sensibility. Except, it turns out that several American product staples are actually... "Made in Europe"?www.euronews.com
Just let it die people. There's much better these days. Or at least go with a 35mm SLR.When the US company announced it was going to stop producing the film in 2008, enthusiasts stepped in and made sure a factory in the Netherlands would keep production going.
Same here. My normal schedule would be trading in car in 2 years. Now I'll wait til the Idiot in Chief is gone.Other than Christmas and things that break, my guess is that we'll be considering purchases more carefully. The current trade war is ****ing stupid, and I'm not enthusiastic about participating.
No it is not.A tariff is just a tax increase and tax increases make us worse off. I'm glad we all agree on that point.
Free trade is the way. Let people buy from whomever they want. If American capitalists can't compete, too f'n bad.
No it is not.
your simplistic explanation does not work
I am not spending money on anything I don't absolutely need.Other than Christmas and things that break, my guess is that we'll be considering purchases more carefully. The current trade war is ****ing stupid, and I'm not enthusiastic about participating.

Of course, the reason is obvious: Trump's taxes on foreign goods and metals is the reason. Stanley Black and Decker says tariffs on these tools have cost them $800M, so sorry customer, you're going to have to pay for Trump's taxes.
Of course there are many other choices in tools. I personally don't own any DeWalt or Craftsman tools, but I can't imagine Trump's taxes are not similarly affecting other manufacturers. It's just a matter of time before other makers charge more (if they aren't already).
If You Use DeWalt Or Craftsman Tools, Be Prepared To Pay Even More Soon - SlashGear
DeWalt and Craftsman both make some of the more popular power tools on the market, and they're both about to get price hikes for an obvious reason.www.slashgear.com
Sorry for the all caps, just a copy and paste...
DeWalt tools have already gone up in price because of tariffs. The imaginary price increases of the future.
Check the labels. Some DeWalt and Craftsman cordless drills etc are manufactured in America.Of course, the reason is obvious: Trump's taxes on foreign goods and metals is the reason. What's funny is you're just the type of person who will be affected by Trump's tax.Check the labels. Some DeWalt and Craftsman cordless drills etc are manufactured in America.
Luckily, all my DeWalt tools are in good working order. I don't anticipate needing anything replaced anytime soon. I own enough Craftsman tools for three mechanics to work from. They are all under a lifetime guarantee.DeWalt tools have already gone up in price because of tariffs.

Ridgid hand tools, with a red and black color scheme, are manufactured here in the U.S. by the Ridge Tool Company (owned by Emerson). But Ridgid power tools with an orange and black color scheme are made in China by Techtronic Industries Co., LTD (TTI) — except for Ridgid shop vacuums, which are gray and orange and made by Emerson in the U.S.
Your thread is burning in flames. Admit you rushed to try and slam Trump without doing any research.Did you notice those are special buys? Those are limited time sales prices negotiated by Home Depot that may not have been available when the person wrote the article.
