Let me say it like it is. We did not lock down the country, at least not like other countries locked down. Half-assed things tend to give half-assed results. Much of like what Trump has shown all his life (13 failed businesses). This is not about wanting worse or better numbers. One does not wish for the numbers, one interprets them to see what they say. Much like trading the stock market. Wishing does not make reality. You study the numbers and play the probabilities.

As far as this miracle vaccine that Trump is hoping for. Let me just say that no vaccine has ever been done successfully in less than 4 years. We are all hoping for a miracle but the probabilities do not favor one happening. People that depend on miracles, usually are disappointed.

Following common sense does not guarantee results but it increases the probabilities of success or decreases the probabilities of failure. I have seen several of your posts regarding the masks. Bottom line is that masks lower the chances of infection. Are they perfect? no, but the opposite does the opposite, it increases the chances of infection. Evidently you are looking for a black or white answer but there is none. There is common sense and there is imprudence and folly. Evidently, you support the latter.

The more I read your posts the more I think you are not a very rational thinking person. Then again, that seems to be the common denominator among Trump supporters.

Criticizing "lefties" like you do is typical of conservatives, so I had no reason to believe you would ever support a Democrat on Election Day.

I had been registered Independent for a long time but in my state that means you can't vote for anyone in primaries at all so I changed my registration to Republican since I am moderate to the right, not far right. But, since I am actually an Independent who actually even voted for Obama in 2012, I vote a mix of parties, including at least one Democrat every election. As far as 2020 goes, I definitely, 100% will not vote for Biden and there is about a 90% chance I will vote for Trump this year even though I did not vote for him in 2016. The left have not only gone bonkers with TDS but have also moved too far left for me.

There must be something else besides politics affecting your decision because he is farther right than you are. During the Democratic primaries I was stuck with choosing between a moderate and democratic socialist after personality quizzes revealed I am halfway in between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.

What we have here is a failed Proof By Contradiction. With a proof by contradiction, one sets out to prove a condition is false, which is usually easier than proving it to be true.

One continues along with a proof until (predictably) one runs into something that does not make sense. That moment when a proof of falsity falls apart is actually the goal; one's "failure" is one's success! It shows that the statement must be true since it cannot be proven to be false.

Put in simpler terms, what Republicans love to do is cherry-pick bits of information they agree with and intentionally take it out of context to pretend they are proving a negative. I tell them they need to prove negatives by using unbiased information-only sources for information. Nobody on the anti-choice side does in the abortion forum, while pro-choicers do a great job posting links and copying some of their text that prove a positive.

No trump has his own platform, no matter how bad anyone thinks it is he has a vision, agenda and plan laid out for america, that is a platform.

Where biden fails is he is trying to play it safe, problem is historically come election day flipfloppers and those being very generic do very poorly, kind of like an employee who shows up but does not do bad enough to get fired but not good enough to get promoted. Look back at all the winners, it is very rare anyone playing ultra moderate in a boring manner wins, it is usually those with a goal and an agenda, who are not afraid to let america know where they stand and where they plan to lead.

Biden still has time to pull this off, but I feel his play it safe in the basement and hope poll numbers are accurate game are going to backfire on him badly.
