If you could only give your child one thing, and one thing only, but it could be anything in the world, what would it be? (ex: a house, happiness, million dollars, etc.) you get the idea.

I would give him the gift of knowledge.

Then hopefully that would lead him to happiness, compassion, quality of life, and riches beyond imagination.

That's pretty close to mine. I would give him the "ability to reason" from which everything else is possible.

Question: Have you ever read Emmanual Kant? If yes, did you find him a tough read?

I would give my child tolerance.

I would give them free will, just to show them how much i loved them. But if they messed up along the way I would pick them up and help them :2razz:

I would proudly teach my child intolerance.

I'll assume my child is born with the ability to reason ;)

Discernment. It's a gift, and one I'd wish on anybody.
