Pay attention to the death rate:

Coronavirus Death Toll and Trends - Worldometer

And as well the number of people that our health care professionals are working 15 hour days to keep from dying:

Coronavirus Update (Live): 435,366 Cases and 19,618 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Outbreak - Worldometer

Currently America has 1175 in critical/intensive care...and it only gets worse from here.

At lease half of these people are going to die!

Still have a long way to go to catch up to the 80,000 who died in 2017/2018 Flu season in the U.S. alone

Repeating an ignorant argument doesn't make it any less ignorant.

If you are impatient for COVID-19 to kill 100,000 Americans, don't fret. Even with current measures, it won't be long.

Pretend you're at a prize fight?

In this corner you have 80,000 Flu deaths

In this corner you have 500

You know who is going to get beat up

Hey guy, I'm still waiting on things like Mexico will pay for the wall

Or the Trump/GOP tax cuts will bring down our national debt etc....

One thing about it. Deniers are certainly consistent

It is not helpful to wrap your arms around tabloid headlines. When this is over, many people who should know better are going to look like idiots.

We are victims of our own success at extending lifespans. We have created a large at risk population, so yeah, there will be additional deaths contributed to Coronavirus

Mate... if you don’t stop this thing, it’s quite possible it could kill 2 or more million Americans.

Italy proved the havoc this thing could wrought, that it’s not just another day at the office, medically speaking and pretty soon thousands are gonna start dying in the US, the infection spread like wildfire because no one took it seriously and now the clock is ticking, you got less than two weeks now before Italy like death tolls begin and they will, Mark my words.

We're only just starting to climb the hill.

There was some good news from Italy. A couple of days ago, the number of deaths peaked and are now going down.

it’s quite possible

Try telling a judge those words in court and see how you do?

When this is over those who should have known better and thoses whose job it was to prepare us better will not be welcome in public paces.

Failure to produce has consequences!

Yes, now learn from it

Is it the right-wing propaganda that has you people constantly dismissive and trying to make false arguments?

The issue was always that this needs attention, not that it's the next Black Death. The only way to reduce deaths from illnesses is to acknowledge that it kills and to then study it for remedies, vaccines, and cures. This is why Democrats encouraged Trump to stop being complacent and to properly lead. And this complacency is why some of you have adopted a stubborn ongoing position to deny simple hypocrisy.

Whatever the number of deaths might be from COVID, they can be wrapped into the regular flu deaths in the end. People died from Measles and German Measles, yet the dumb-dumb scientists cared to study German Measles anyway. And if a new sort of AIDs pops up, shall we just compare the new deaths to an older statistic and start laughing at health officials too?

Yes, now learn from it

Again, wrong lesson.

- Italy was one of the countries that jumped on this. Any good news from Italy is going to come from months of efforts to control the virus in order to give the experts time to save as many as possible. And since they, the Chinese, and whoever else is sharing their research findings, the rest of the world will benefit.

- We, on the other hand, decided too play a moronic game. We chose to shrug and are only now actually looking to officially deal with it.

Our gloriously wealthy nation sacrificed time just to play political games for the more stupid of our population (as they emptied stores of Tylenol, ****-paper, and canned soups). In the meantime, we, the wealthiest nation in history, somehow don't have enough masks for nurses or incubators. A Chinese billionaire actually felt sorry enough for us that he offered to donate 500,000 test kits.

There are lessons to learn from this. Most people won't die even if we do nothing is not one of them.

Since you got your information the US has gone up to 714 deaths. Get it now?

No.... we haven't even got to 1000 yet let alone 80,000
