I really doubt it. Abortion to the Republicans is like gun control is to the Democrats. Talking about it energizes the base but doing things about it only loses you votes.

I don't think you could even get 50 GOP Senators to make abortion illegal! Unfortunately for Republicans, if this is true, a few vulnerable Dem Senators just got a gift and a few GOP seats just became a bit more vulnerable.
