Christopher Marlowe, also known as Kit Marlowe (/ˈmɑːrloʊ/; baptised 26 February 1564 – 30 May 1593), was an English playwright, poet and translator of the Elizabethan era.[a] Marlowe is among the most famous of the Elizabethan playwrights. Based upon the "many imitations" of his play Tamburlaine, modern scholars consider him to have been the foremost dramatist in London in the years just before his mysterious early death.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Marlowe#cite_note-4 Some scholars also believe that he greatly influenced William Shakespeare, who was baptised in the same year as Marlowe and later succeeded him as the pre-eminent Elizabethan playwright.[c] Marlowe was the first to achieve critical reputation for his use of blank verse, which became the standard for the era. His plays are distinguished by their overreaching protagonists. Themes found within Marlowe's literary works have been noted as humanistic with realistic emotions, which some scholars find difficult to reconcile with Marlowe's "anti-intellectualism" and his catering to the prurient tastes of his Elizabethan audiences for generous displays of extreme physical violence, cruelty, and bloodshed.[4]
Events in Marlowe's life were sometimes as extreme as those found in his plays.[d] Differing sensational reports of Marlowe's death in 1593 abounded after the event and are contested by scholars today owing to a lack of good documentation. There have been many conjectures as to the nature and reason for his death, including a vicious bar-room fight, blasphemous libel against the church, homosexual intrigue, betrayal by another playwright, and espionage from the highest level: the Privy Council of Elizabeth I. An official coroner's account of Marlowe's death was revealed only in 1925,[6] and it did little to persuade all scholars that it told the whole story, nor did it eliminate the uncertainties present in his biography
They were all empowered by Shakespeare.
An argument has arisen about the notion that Marlowe faked his death and then continued to write under the assumed name of William Shakespeare.
NO!They were all empowered by Shakespeare.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe[a] (28 August 1749 – 22 March 1832) was a German poet, playwright, novelist, scientist, statesman, theatre director, and critic.[3] His works include plays, poetry, literature, and aesthetic criticism, as well as treatises on botany, anatomy, and colour. He is widely regarded as the greatest and most influential writer in the German language, his work having a profound and wide-ranging influence on Western literary, political, and philosophical thought from the late 18th century to the present day.
The lesson in Elisha, is that you're not supposed to ask according to your neighbor, really, it is a very troublesome request, but the Lord is bound by it, He offered you a benediction. It would also help, if you and/or somebody else voted.
You know that reminds me of the "Never Twice Club," if they recognize you as a former US President, they won't let you get elected, it's kind of a Lincoln cult.It would also help, if you and/or somebody else voted.
For those of you that don't know, when Elijah was taken up to Heaven in a fiery chariot, the Lord offered Elisha a benediction and he said, "Give me a double portion of Elijah." And John the Baptist was beheaded. It would also help, if you and/or somebody else voted.
So, what to ask for, if the Lord were to ever offer you a benediction, "I only want your causeless devotional service birth after birth." And, "Wherever I may do may I always be surrounded by devotees (or Christians etc)." This is an especially effective prayer, because many of will be scattered around Creation after this and that would promote His plan for planets in the wake of this one and give you real protection. When the Lord says to Satan, "I'm bound to keep him surrounded."And what about Goethe?
