Strictly speaking, the man and the office are separate. We had a nice man in Jimmy Carter and he was an historically bad President. The two Roosevelts are considered among the best Presidents. Teddy was the first America First foreign policy President, as in the big-stick philosophy. FDR was not shy about having the IRS investigate political rivals. I want a guy in the Oval Office who is up to using naked power when it's called for. I also want a guy that knows when not to push the button.

That said, I completely deny that Trump is an evil person. He's only shown that way on TV.

Oh you poor fellow, if that is the way you feel despite the facts I see no point in discussing anything with you.

The North Koreans have played Trump to the hilt and the poor fellow still claims he still has "an excellent relationship" with KJU.

You can try to make the case that Korea DPR has played the US, if you want. It's a sidelight on the world stage though the Trump administration has accomplished more than any President since Truman. I was referring to trade agreements, dealing with ISIS and Iran, NATO, etc. Trump's less interventionist stance has born fruit, but so has being willing to make a decision and stick to it. How many prior Presidents have promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem, for example.

The fact is that Trump is doing a good job. That's all you need.

You're talking to someone who would never willingly say as such, no matter the amount of proof that sits in front of them.

He'd be more interested in screwing over someone innocent, just to prove his agenda correct. Rather than admit something so typical about what Trump has accomplished.

When you say Joe Biden is a weak candidate, you are talking about his policy proposals and the direction the wants for America. As a candidate, Biden is much stronger than Trump across the board.
 
Most Christians will vote for the serial adulterer who cheats people out of money and doesn't pay his bills.

I highly recommend reading his Twitter account if you seriously think that. He is nasty all the time on it.

Trump spends a lot of time pushing buttons when he shouldn't. That has been reported everywhere.

No, as I said, I'm talking specifically about the enthusiasm behind him regardless of his policy proposals. He's not exciting. He absolutely doesn't have the Milennial vote. And the older Democrats aren't excited either - he's just the next one in line so they're going with that.

Biden would still probably win. Biden just needs a slightly better turnout than Hillary, and with everyone knowing for sure that Trump is a monster, with his base shrinking, and with like 8 out of 10 new voters being progressive, the deck would be stacked in Biden’s favour. This isn’t 2016. The appeal of using Trump as an establishment wrecking ball doesn’t have the same appeal, especially since Trump has just fulfilled the establishment Republican agenda.

Not really, but I hate to watch news shows and don't care about everything that happens. When Trump won in 2016, I felt like the air got sucked out of a balloon. I had planned to write to Hillary Clinton about health care if she won the election.

Maybe a little bit. The MSM will spin whatever comes out to protect the Bidens by attacking Durham among other practices. My point is that other than the Durham report (yet to unfold) we likely only know what we think we know about Biden. R's claim foul, D's say it was already investigated so move along. Partisan lines are drawn. The appearance of impropriety is out there for the moderates to make their decision. The current flow of cash to Trump gives the appearance that this hurts Biden, my guess is that the damage is done to some extent.

Predicting the future is a game that I am not good at. I thought Cruz was gonna win the R nomination in 2016, then lose to Hillary in the general. I would not take my predictions to Vegas if I were you.

I have, though not recently.

I do not deny that he's snarky as hell. The point is that he's usually nasty in response to an attack. In among all that is a serious purpose. He trades a lot of insults with the media, and clearly enjoys provoking reactions, but he also tweets out things that the media is not reporting. In essence, he is taunting a bully while informing bystanders why he's doing it.

Be a bit less literal, look at the context and look for hidden meanings and buried information. He's not evil, more crazy like the fox.

Attacking Durahm will be the final nail in the dem/msm coffin. There have been many in Trump's administration that were once "principled patriots", until they joined Trump's admin. Durham was hailed as a nonpartisan patriotic hero to the left when he lead the inquiry into allegations that FBI agents and Boston police had ties with the mob, and was a special prosecutor in the 2005 CIA interrogation tapes destruction. If they trash him, they trash themselves.;)
