If it's Trump v. Biden, who will win?

Not who you will vote for --- not who you want to win --- who WILL win?

I cannot say who WILL win. If I could say who WILL win, I would not even have Biden as the nominee of the DEM party.

Biden has the smallest chance of any of the dems running to beat Trump. If he is the nominee, Trump wins the popular vote and the electoral vote

I wouldn't go nearly that far.

There is no way Buttigieg, Klobuchar or Bloomberg would outperform him.

Biden wins bt 5 million votes, but in the United States we award the victory to the candidate with the second most votes.

Maybe it has to do with the next phase of Republican voter suppression. Vote against Trump and they make you dead.

One reason I am a liberal is conservatives want voter suppression, gerrymandering, etc. They will do anything to prevent Democrats from voting.

I am not sure how you got that from my statement, but, if thats what you want to believe, sure, but there is no historical precedent to support your statement I can think of.

What does being a progressive mean?
Progressivism is the support for or advocacy of social reform. As a philosophy, it is based on the idea of progress, which asserts that advancements in science, technology, economic development and social organization are vital to the improvement of the human condition.

It sounds good but the description is so vague it seems anyone can claim that they are "Progressive". What type of social organization are they referring to and how is it implemented?

Not who you will vote for --- not who you want to win --- who WILL win?

Well, unless any of us can predict the future or have a crystal ball, none of us can really say who WILL win. I chose Biden because to me he is the one Democrat running that may get the votes needed to beat Trump. A lot depends also on who he will be running with, a good choice will make a winning team. Another thing to consider is how much Russia will interfere again in this election, if Putin pulls more strings other than the ones that are attached to our Puppet in Chief, then that will affect the results.

A good economy and an incumbent, this election is Trump's to lose.

First of all, Biden is as crooked as a corkscrew. You will see hundreds of ads of him sniffing up and feeling up women. That will be a killer for women voters. Just like Hillary, Joe the genius has promised to kill the coal industry. Which by the way also kills the railroad industry. Dims are trying to hang their hat on Joe not because he is qualified but because he is not a total socialist fruitcake like the rest of their field. Obama not endorsing him says it all, he has no chance.

As I write Trump is closing the China deal, he has upgraded NAFTA, it looks like a peace treaty is coming in Afghanistan, the economy is booming, more jobs that job seekers, on and on.

I see no enthusiasm for any of the Democrat candidates other than give it all away Sanders. Their rallies have few people. Trump on the other hand draws big crowds who will wait in line for hours for a chance to see him. A significant portion of his rally crowd has shown to be Democrats too. This is indicative how how the election will go. He has gotten hundreds of thousands of first time donors and volunteer campaign workers to jump on board too. Trump is also making inroads to the Black vote. They are tired of getting lip service on election year by the Democrats, only to be shunned when the voting is over. Trump has given them jobs and pay increases. Democrats switching sides, Blacks voting for Trump and strong support among his base will carry Trump to a comfortable win.

I'm not sure.

However, based on the evidence of 2016 and Biden being a older male version of Clinton, I have to wonder if the same thing will happen.

OTOH, 2016 was damned close, so perhaps backlash (even a small one) against Trump combined with less people disliking Biden (remember that Hillary Clinton was portrayed as a villain for at least a decade before 2016, by her opponents), along with the idiots who didn't vote for Clinton because she was female now being willing to vote for Biden....

A win by Biden makes us all losers.

Personally I think we'l lose harder if Trump wins, but Biden is just barely better.

Much like my opinion of the Clinton vs. Trump contest in 2016, so I can't for the life of me figure out why the Democrats are trying to DO THAT AGAIN.

Oh yes, like the ones last time in 2016 that were suppose to do?(LOL)
They did, a bit, which is understandable. Support was for Obama personally, not support of the party. In 2016 it showed.

I am not convinced that Biden will be the nominee but if he is, he pretty much sank his chances winning the blue collar vote. He publicly stated in the last debate that in the name of Climate Change he will work to shut down industries even if it means thousands upon thousands of people losing their jobs. Do you think any blue collar worker in their right mind would vote for someone that threatens to take their job away? He may get support of some leaders of unions but not the workers. He can forget winning PA, OH, WI, MN, MI, with that kind of talk. The only place in the U.S. that will play well is the NE coast and the W coast. Everything else in between will be a kiss my grits moment from the blue collar workers to Biden .

Trump will win in 2020.

Hillary Clinton won by a margin of at least 3 million votes. How do you call that tally close?

If Biden is the nominee Trump will be the certain winner. AOC & her crew plan to primary any democrat candidate who will not
pass their 'limus test'. Along that line, Bernie supporters will stay home in protest if someone other than he is the nominee, half of Warren's
supporters will do the same. The base of the party & the youngsters in their ranks voting for the first time are not interested in Quid Pro Joe!

Actually in 2016, Trump couldn't beat Baby Bushe's 2004 Black vote %. I was hearing BS about the Black % for Trump was going to be as high as 18%(LOL)

Support was for Obama personally, not support of the party. In 2016 it showed

Yes, but was still around that historical black vote at 90% Dim. She had 88%(Round it off)

The dead people whose names always seem to end up on the voter rolls, usually on the Democrat side.

Who needs dead people when you have real people?

I have concerns that people are gonna vote for Biden only because they think Trump is mean and they hate him. This is similar to people voting for Obama because he is black.

If people vote rationally Trump should win in a landslide because he is by far the best candidate. I suspect we'll get a little help from the Russians as well. Also, if more children come forward regarding Biden that should be the end of it for him.
