If guns make us safer.....

Bwaaahhhh.. . that's funny.

you have demonstrated over and over that you have no idea what the gun laws are and what they are not. Over and over you have DEMONSTRATED your ignorance of current gun laws. and I most certainly have fired weapons that you have never even seen a picture of.
Oh I know you are going to try and explain how you have all this knowledge about firearms.. but you have demonstrated over and over that you don't.

You remind me of a fellow that told me that he knew all about firearms and handguns.. and asked me what handguns I had. . and I mentioned I had a .44 superblackhawk.. with a 7.5 inch barrel I used for competition. And he said... all serious and all knowing.. "the problem with the .44 is that its only accurate to 50 yards".

hey.. maybe you are him? :lamo

Oh wait.. he demonstrated a greater knowledge of firearms than you have on this board.

I bet you are a terror at killing paper targets.

Thank you for your opinion

You can carry a gun in NYC without a permit.

You cannot carry a handgun without a permit but you certainly can carry a long gun without a permit.

Not in NYC....Try walking around Times Square with your AR 15. LOL

Well that yes.. and hunting.. and predator control.. (not easy by the way from a helicopter or airplane).

Oh and yes I have been forced to use a firearm to defend myself and my family..

but thanks for playing Vegas.

Yes in NYC. Walking around times square with an AR 15 would be problematic because it would be seen as threatening or intimidation.. or public nuisance or disturbing the peace.

but carrying my firearm home from the gun dealers.. in public? Nope.. been there and done that.

So you can't do it in public in NYC. And you seem fine with these restrictions. Got it

I also can't drive my car into a hospital in NYC.. that does not mean I cannot drive a car in NYC. Got it?

Uh....is there anywhere where you can drive your car into a hospital? LOL

Nope.. and according to your logic.. that must mean that states have laws against driving cars in public!!..

Gosh.. I better notify the DMV.. that Vegas Giants now thinks that driving cars is illegal..

Ok you do that then. LOL

Oh and you can't bear arms in public in NYC without a permit

not true, I don't label the "death for abortion doctors" nuts leftwing or "the gays are sinners" twits left wing. what exactly is your lean other than anti gun owner?

There you go again hon, I own, permitted to carry; all your internally generated jackass assumptions notwithstanding.

message boards are filled with "gun owners" who sound like employees of the Brady bunch or one of Bloomberg's operatives

You are making my point. In the others you need a license or permit to bear arms

No, you might need a license or permit for open carry. You do not need a license to have a rifle on or in your private property.

5 states doesn't meet "many other states" criteria you mentioned previously.

I don't care if it's one. You can't carry without a license or permit in public. The precedent is clear

45 states have open carry.

Open carry is an exercise in dick waving by a phallically challenged pretty pathetic and mostly white male section of US society which holds the safety of the rest of it to ransom as a consequence of their 'inadequacies'.

Thats the ugly truth sadly
