If Gay Marriage is OK...then Why not Polygamy

If you argue that homosexual marriage should be allowed/recognized by the state; because it involves two consensual adults.

Then do you also believe that Polygamy should be mandated by the state. Marriage between 1 man and multiple wives ?

Or one wife and multiple men, of course. If people believe this is an acceptable way of living, who are we to restrain them in it? Of course, they have to be consenting adults..

Sure... who are we to tell them they can't do it?

Of course, the issue is to determine how it will effect the benefits of a married..a married "group"... as far as taxes, etc.

Hmm.. I doubt legal difficulties. The world is filled with lawyers. If anything, they can develop a formula that will make sure everyone gets an equal 'share' of taxes..

Well, then the case is closed pending modification of ... the marriage code or whatever...

Polygamy is good to go!
