I have been saying for the last 4 years that if it were a corporation that Bush were president of, he would have been out on his keester long ago. So it does not surprise me in the least that some corporate executives are saying the same thing.

Article is here.

I never supported Clinton. In fact, I was one of the first to call for his impeachment. So why do you have to lie about that instead of addressing the issue of why the founder of Hellman & Friedman Investments, who is also a partner at Lehman brothers, would say that Bush would be fired if he were a CEO? If your Clinton Penis envy is getting in the way of debating that question, there are other threads you can pollute. Just don't pollute this one. In other words, leave this thread, and quit being a damn troll.

In 2004 the American People had the chance to fire him. They did not.
So...?

Probably not. Clinton took over the company when it was having massive debt problems, and under his leadership put the company in the black for the first time in decades, ran the company profitably, and increased its work force dramatically. Having an affair usually doesn't cause the downfall of otherwise very successful CEOs.

It goes right along with Bush's recent speech in which he said that Executive salaries should be in proportion with their performance.....which would mean that Bush would either get fired or would be earning about $1.38 a year.

This thread is nothing but silly, jealous opinionated rhetoric. Why is this horses**t in a debate forum?

Why is GWB's job performance not subject to debate in your mind?
Anytime anyone talks about it you raise the same "jealous rhetoric" argument.
Is sounds like his job performance is a touchy subject with you...is that why you don't think it should be subject to debate...or are you one of those Britany Spears thinkers....you know "We should just trust the President and support him in whatever he does"?

.....who cares?

Even if every single CEO in the world thought so, would it matter? The jobs are incomparable.

they also have ethics clauses in their contracts among other clauses
which would have resulted in him being fired for lying under oath, well actually for being Caught lying under oath

Excellent contribution! What do you actually think about the article presented and it's premise or were you more interested in trying to ruin this thread than contribute to it? I'm betting on the latter.

As if there would have been tens of millions of dollars spent measuring the curve of his penis or delving into his personal life!

Let's not forget that it was the GOP in their hate for Clinton that chose to waste our money by "investigating" everything Clinton and after all those millions could only come up with blow jobs!

What do you actually think about the article presented
You complimented me on the post where I said what I thought of the article. Guess you missed it. Here it is again: "nothing but silly, jealous opinionated rhetoric"

See post #9
I would have replied to post #9, had post #9 been relevant to this discussion. There are many - probably hundreds - of threads which deal with the President's performance. Pick one. This thread, which was born out of one American's opinion, has more to do with his hate and little to do with anything worth debating. That is why I say, again: nothing but silly, jealous opinionated rhetoric

Jealous opinionated rhetoric against Bush from a mover and shaker of the investment class? Give it a rest. Flame baiting from you does not change the fact that what you call jealousy is coming from some of the very same people who voted for Bush. :rofl

No one has been flame-baited, dana, so get over yourself. Relax.

If Bush were a programmer, his code would be plagued with null pointers and infinite loops. :2razz:
