I need to be educated on this. I don't hear anything much if any on the Abortion issue at all; and wonder why he cannot use any leverage to at least try at making it illegal. If the war is to save american lives for Bush in the war effort and he pushes his limit of authority and power for it--why not for Abortion if he believes that's murder?

Because the president doesn't make law, he signs or vetoes it.

He would have to go up against Roe v. Wade. It is better for him to let the states deal with it. Mississippi has all but outlawed abortion to the point that there is only one abortion clinic left in the state. (or at least the documentary I saw on, I think, the History channel outlined).

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... ya wanna wake 'em up?

Looky here. In the beginning before 9/11, before Iraq, I was a Bush supporter because I thought he might make some headway on the front of convenience abortions. That is what they led me to believe. Since, they have led me to believe a lot of other things too. Lately, I know better.

After he got my vote, I was yesterdays skank-ho left to sleep on the wet spot. Many people from the religious right also feel betrayed and manipulated. He ain't done diddly squat on that front. But he has been a bit pre-occupied, no?

Do you people have anything better to do than blabber about this issue?
Dividing the US people by agressing another country that has an anti-liberty agenda is different than launching an anti-liberty agenda against the actual american public.
In one case, people can ignore the foreign issue (out of sight out of mind); whereas, in the other case, the people will take the assault personally and begin to fight amongst themselves.
It is better to remove the obstacles of division and keep the people close together in thought.

all i can say is i would hate to be a pregnant teenage girl in america i mean to go branding someone as a child killer who is only child themselves.

If abortion were made legal, the most polarizing issue uniting the far right today would vanish. Best just to keep them pissed off.
