If Biden wins, what will be the excuse(s) from the Republicans?

We know that already because Trump has said so. If he wins, it's a fair election. If he loses, the Democrats stole it. Heads I win, tails you lose.

Even though 24% of voters voted by mail in 2016, they'll blame fraud in mail voting, which there is scant evidence of such.

The only difference is that will Trump actually voluntarily leave if he loses?

Weeping and gnashing of teeth, same as Democrats if Trump wins. I'm sure that Trump will make things worse. He always does.
 
I note that very few really expect Trump to lose. Interesting.
