It's hard to say because even "classical liberal" doesn't have a clear meaning. I went to the wikis on liberalism to see what they meant, and "liberalism" is completely different in the US and Europe, in the 19th and 20th centuries, etc.

Liberals in the US are known to support a progressive income tax (which would be much more effective and lower for the upper class if all loopholes for deductions by large corporations were ended), a decent minimum wage, etc., on the grounds that market supply and demand forces do not work successfully in some areas. Hence, they are known for not being "economic libertarians."

But most of them take a libertarian, live and let live, stand on a huge number of non-economic issues regarding individual privacy and behavior related to marriage, sex, reproduction, abortion, health care, smoking, marijuana, other natural plant "drugs," ownership of guns that are not assault weapons or have excessive magazine capacity, lifestyle differences, etc., and issues of national defense and war. There are numerous areas where liberal and libertarian intersect.
