Avila's detention comes amid an immigration crackdown under the Trump administration. In addition to people residing in the country illegally, immigrants with valid documentation—including green cards and visas—have been detained and face legal jeopardy.

President Donald Trump has pledged to carry out the largest mass deportation operation in U.S. history, and in the initial months of his second term, his administration has deported more than 100,000 people. Many migrants have been deported as a result of Trump's invocation of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which grants the president authority to deport noncitizens without appearing before a judge, among other wartime authorities.

Yup, the gestapo just arrested a man who had green card. This is illegal and it needs to cost the ICE gestapo their jobs and freedom.

These Nazis need to be unmasked. They need to be held accountable for repeatedly violating the law.

First 100,000 is a small number considering the millions of illegals living here. Remember Obama deported 3 million. The law is the law and many people are here after coming illegally, overstaying their visa, or losing their green card for some reason.
A green card is proof of legal resident status, it's not a guarantee against deportation. Various actions or situations, such as criminal convictions, immigration violations, or even extended time outside the U.S., can lead to deportation. A green card doesn't make you a citizen.

These problems are part of millions of illegal immigrants that were allowed to come into the country and stay despite breaking the law. The system isn't perfect but it's the law and the system. Tell the democrats to stop encouraging breaking the law.

A green card means you are here legally. Which means ICE has ZERO business going near that man.

The gestapo arrested a man who was not in violation of the law. That needs to lead to charges against the moron who made the arrest and anybody who assisted him.

It's more likely that you do not know. You actually have no idea whether he broke the terms of his green card, but you want to jump on anything related to a Trump administration as unlawful and part of the "gestapo".
IF you claims of the gestapo just arresting brown people were at all true, then why don't they just pick up all the brown folks in mass sweeps like herding cattle. I'll be sure to tell my hispanic daughter in law to hide when we see them at lunch today.

ICE goons are wearing masks because they do not have enough hair on their balls to do the job as it was intended. They are afraid of being held accountable by the next POTUS and congress. Alright, I've shared the law about green cards three times already. I've included the source and the details. Meanwhile, you continue to bury your head deeper into the sand or some other place of your choosing.

I'd love to continue this discussion but I have to meet my hispanic daughter in law and her hispanic american children for lunch and a movie.
