I will be moving soon

I won't be that bad. I have played in small Texas towns for decades, and have made friends in every one of them. I think the main thing that will hinder my sleeping will be the absence of police sirens at night. LOL.

That will be replaced easily and much more comforting and less disturbing sounds, wind blowing lightly, I add thru the trees, and the sounds of country living.

That's cool that you could swing the work from home deal. However you now have a vulnerability if you lose your job. If I were to attempt what you have done, I would try to be within 60 miles of Austin, making it possible to seek alternative employment if necessary.

Good point, the county is near poor on average for a reason, lack of jobs seems like a candidate.

But you know, sometimes a big roll of the nice is the right thing to do.

Especially so with women.

Different subject.

Another time.

Maybe.

:2wave:

Actually, there is a decent orchestra in Huntsville.

Before you close, check the terrain maps and make sure you are away from that flood plane along that creek south of town,
it flooded bad there in the 90's.
On a side note DamB has some very good easy access bass fishing.

As I recall pumpkin seed color worms worked well right off the road just left of the bridge:2razz:

Yes, and a brilliant oboe teacher. Sam Houston State has a very good music department.

Already did. I'm not in the flood plain, and actually, the house is situated on a bit of a hill. Can't say the same for some of the roads in the area, though. A flooding event will impact those, but we'll still be high and dry.

Oh yea, great fishing, and there are also 2 deer camps within a mile of the house.

Every hear the joke about Sam Houston State? it says it used to be called the Sam Houston Institute of Technology. LOL.

Its music program is ranked 5th in Texas. I've a friend who was forced to live in Huntsville for a time and loathed the town so much that forevermore she has referred to it as "Huntspatch." :lamo
