I want my tax dollars to pay! = never lose insurance coverage for any reason and insurance industry does not dictate which doctor or care facility

Why do some want to pay for the privilege of paying too much? over and over and over and over and over
because they have convinced themselves that anything that is even an inkling of socialism is somehow bad......they got here because that's the way they were raised......they were raised that way because their parents parents parents were raised that way......and all their peers were raised that way......and they have their propaganda machines first in the pews of their churches and second in their media outlets

that being said there is gorilla in the corner......and that gorilla is race......it our nation were not a melting pot of all races and religions; if we were only Caucasion, socialism would be accepted and encouraged.......case in point; the millions and millions of white Americans who depend on Social Security and Medicare and Food stamps.......they want these programs for themselves but not for their brother who looks and thinks differently than they

It is that pretty much white extremist ALEC that is seeking to kill those programs all of which are good for the economy and help keep employees employed.

Social Security Insurance and Medicare and Medicaid and Food Stamps are not free and never have been free. They are however wise use of tax dollars. Hell I pay into Medicare every month and have discovered what great coverage it provides.

Single Payer for ALL would provide a steady boost to the economy 12 months a year. And no more bankruptcies related to healthcare.

= I want my tax dollars to pay!
= Never losing health insurance for any reason
= Bankruptcy due to health care would be history
= Health Care remains private industry
= Health Care Providers ALWAYS get paid thus keeping cost of healthcare in check

WHEREAS, H.R. 676 would cover every person in the U.S. for all necessary medical care including:
prescription drugs
hospital
surgical
outpatient services
primary and preventive care
emergency services
dental
mental health
home health
physical therapy
rehabilitation (including for substance abuse)
vision care
chiropractic
long-term care.

H.R. 676 ends deductibles and co-payments.

H.R. 676 would save billions annually by eliminating high overhead and profits of the private health insurance industry and HMOs.

The transition to national health insurance would apply the savings from costly administration and profits to expanded and improved coverage for all.

Approximately 2.6 million jobs will become available through Single Payer Insurance = pays for itself.
YES good for the people, their health and their wallets ........

Why not demand that the government use our tax dollars for we the taxpayers? Why is is it politicians will not put this to a voters on this coming election period?

Let us decide how to spend our tax dollars!

Would they? How many would opt to only take certain plans. (NJ apparently has several Medicaid plans to choose from). How many would opt to only take private insurance?

I’ve seen Medicare for seniors and how those plans aren’t universally accepted and how seniors need additional supplemental, etc plans…and now I’ve seen my friend struggle with Medicaid.

Neither gives me the warm fuzzy about having government involved in healthcare.

And then what happens when Congress can’t pass a budget at some point? Does health insurance get held up? Do people potentially lose healthcare coverage because a budget can’t be agreed upon?

I don’t trust the government enough to want my families health insurance managed by them.
I love Medicare. It is a better insurance program than any I have had for more than 20 years before I turned 65. I get a supplement, but am not sure that it is cost effective - I would have to be terribly ill with something permanent requiring a lot of expensive treatment for it to pay. But, I have it because one doesn't know what will happen - I know I won't be getting healthier. But, any delays in payment to the provider is from the supplemental insurer. I get EOBs from Medicare within a month or two of treatment, showing what Medicare paid and what will be paid by the insurer and me. I don't know if Medicaid works this way (in fact, I was surprised to hear that insurance companies were involved) but I suspect it is the same. Insurance companies make more money the more they delay paying.

It's why I voted for Obama the first time. I'm still waiting.
Yes that is true. Obama initially came out for Single Payer early in his presidential campaign. Late in the campaign he was backing out I noticed the same way he backed out on the promise the bring the boys home from USA undeclared war zones which are all over the world.

It was those two factors that became my two deciding factors to not vote for Obama. Clinton taught me to pay close attention to democrat campaigns thus began voting for the less popular and lower spending candidates. Voters began worshipping Bill Clinton. It was also then I lost all faith in the DNC and their pundits.

Yes we voters need to make our own decisions not the DNC or corporate endorsements.

Voters began worshipping Donald Trump and ALEC which is still proving to be disastrous for America.

Yes I become wary when candidates become blind eyes popular to the point that voters treat these candidates as rock stars as if they can do no wrong. The DNC is a conservative organization who chose Florida elected representatives to guide the campaigns.

Paying closer attention and voting for the lower spending candidates could realistic change America
and our quality of lives for the better.

The nation is far more moderate across the board so how do conservatives get into office? The cheat big time and lie most all the time.

Again why not demand that the government use our tax dollars for we the taxpayers? Why is is it politicians will not put this to the voters on this coming election period? THEY KNOW Single Payer will be the winner.

Let us decide how to spend our tax dollars!

The cute part is that you think a national health program would let you choose your doctor. Doctors already run away at maximum speed from Medicare, Medicaid, and VA patients because of the paperwork, bureaucracy and poor payment.
