First of all....the reason I called her a "HORNY" slut is because her mood had horny on it! Slut was because she was off the subject and being very offensive to me, she attacked me first! If you claim you are involved, as you do, it's reasonable to be expected to justify how. You have stated that you've worked with women post abortion hence you know what you're talking about, but despite numerous invitiations, you don't seem to be able to disclose just HOW you're involved or what this "work" you've done actually is. Others have disclosed their involvement, you haven't despite your claims. So let's have it. How have you "worked" with women post-abortion and how do you "know what you're talking about"? What are you? A doctor? A nurse? A nurse's aide? A counsellor? A social worker? HOW are you involved?

Or are you, as we all suspect, simply a frustrated mom of 4 boys with an axe to grind?

Any woman that carries a child and loves,cares and raises that child most definitely DO deserve respect. Just as a doctor or lawyer define themselves by their "occupation" so does a mom and IMO being a mom is a WAY more important job then any other with out good mom's there are many less good adults.

I don't think viewing an abortion would do any good in many cases.

Most abortions are performed at under 8 weeks, often not even at the fetal stage yet. Even those performed at 3/4 months, they often are no large than 4 inches and barely recognizable as anything human.

When I was attending school, I was a volunteer counselor for a women's shelter that gave referrals for abortions when necessary. I've seen two.

I'd never recommend to a woman to get an abortion (except in the case of incest and rape), and would do anything to encourage a woman to keep her child. But seeing one - would do very little to change a person's mind. Its simply not like some propaganda websites would have you believe it is. Not at all.

And the fact is, a D&C is not a gaudily gruesome procedure; it's quick, it's clean. Seeing a video of one would probably set prospective patients' minds at ease about their impending procedures, rather than having the opposite effect.

Completely agree, my thoughts on them seeing it is more a "so you know what to expect" issue. I think as in anything before you do it be informed especially when it could be your life.

I'm not satisfied, nor are most pro-choicers, with a ban on abortion that would allow it only in the case of life and death of the mother. I'm also not comfortable with exceptions just for rape and incest. It should be the right of every pregnant woman who does not want a child to abort it as early as possible. I am in favor of unlimited abortion in the first trimester, abortion in the second trimester only for well-thought-out reasons (rape, incest, health) and NO third-trimester abortions unless necessary to save the mother's life or to remove a fatally-deformed fetus in a manner that is less deleterious to the mother than vaginal delivery or C-section.

I also find that interesting. Too many people think that women who seek abortions are young, single and careless. They fail to take into consideration that 20% of abortions are performed on MARRIED women and that many others are done when birth control has failed. You obviously have the good sense to see the exceptions to the so-called rule and I thank you for that.
