Yep - I bought some botan rice candy (with the edible wrappers) for our family get together over the weekend - hid it so the kids couldn't find it - forgot all about it and left it here.

Now I promised the kids they could eat it. . . but now I can't remember where I put it.

They're calling me the candy bandit.
 
Oh, what a tangled web we weave...

Even with having no kids myself, the one thing you don't tell them is that you're going to do something unless it's part of a bribe. First of all, anticipation muddies a child's head, and if you don't live up to your end of the bargain you're a villian.

If something goes wrong without any pre-arranged agreement, you scrap it and the slate is wiped clean.
