I've been trying to warn people about Southerners/modern day confederates since the 1980s/1990s.

As a white guy/athlete/business person/partier I was right there in the middle of them for decades and heard what they REALLY wanted (while in private, at parties, while they were drunk in bars).

I think I remember posting that there seemed to be nothing Republicans wouldn't do for power years ago, with some other extreme examples. Nothing changed except more examples.
