Just trying to scrape what little credibility he has, if none at all.

If you think this Rush is trying to say, "I called it" you are way off. What he means is that he is not going to fight for views and opinions held by washington Republicans any more b.c they lost Congress. He is going back to his classic conservatisim or w.e u think he is because now that republicans are out of power, he doesnt have to fight to keep them in power. he can speak is full mind now. i look forward to the new rush, because i look forward to republicans getting back to being conservative!

Rush is like a rush in the breeze, he swings whichever way the wind blows.
Always with an eye open to increase his own popularity (such as it is).
The guy is a JERK and very possibly the worst kind of JERK.
He was not so anti GOP before the Mid Terms, in fact they (the Republicans) could do no wrong, before.
Now the people of America have spoken and whoops all of a sudden he sees the light.
I don't think so, he is just an opportunist like many others, he could even be called a turncoat, because that is exactly what he has done.
A whole lot of Republicans (myself included) have been posting against the excesses of this Republican administration, against it's mendacity, against it's audacious and unashamed theft of our freedoms.
We must remember yesterday for it's lesson to those who would seek via the ballot box to steal our nation from us, they will not succeed.
Better they should never again try.
This warning applies to the Democrats as well as Republicans.
