I dislike Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann very much.

:lamo

:rofl

Yes, DD, it is exactly as I thought.

You really do think this thread is actually about Olbermann and Schultz.

As I said, what it's really about is obvious . . . to non-hacks. :doh

Both in style and substance.

Do you know what I do?

NOT TALK ABOUT THEM.

I don't get why we can't make threads about biased reporters in the Bias in the Media section. I mean that is like saying no threads about current topics in the Breaking News sections.

See? Non-hacks understand what the thread is about.

Never said that anyone couldn't do anything. Only observing the excess.

Just a thought, but I think he might be referring to the extreme number of threads about Beck et al the last couple weeks.

Harshaw do you have a picture of St. Beck that you kiss before you go to sleep? I don't like either one of them either but at least Olberman can see humor in what he is talking about and make it a bit entertaining. You know what I dislike? People that form their opinions around what shock jocks say.

I like the title of this thread.

I don't get what people have against Ed. Granted, I've never actually seen his television show, but I used to listen to his radio show every day, and he was about as humble and down to earth as any pundit I've ever seen. Maybe he's done something with his show that enrages people, but I've got a lot of respect for the guy. Plus, he's from my neck of the woods, and midwest liberals are not well represented in this country. Cut Ed some slack.

I don't care about Olbermann. He's very talented at what he does but what he does isn't terribly interesting to me.

He's anything but humble and down to earth. Watch his interview with Ron Paul, or should I say his yelling at Ron Paul?

The only Beck I've ever seen is in clips posted by people who hate him, mostly here. I dislike people who habitually make entirely unjustified leaps in "reasoning."

And again.....it is hysterically ironic that you don't even see how big of a hack you are by posting this thread. LOL.....

Whatever you say, DD. :lamo

Olbermann at least makes me laugh, kinda like O'Reilly. it does please me that both would hate that comparison.

Brilliant!

I like them both. O'Reilly a little more. Olbermann is a bit too shticky.

I use to like Olberman when he was an hour long version of Jon Stewart, but now he has some kind of seriousness to his show that I don't like, because it ends up being a ton of bull anyways.

So then why don't you post a thread about how people jump to conclusions with Obama or the mosque then?

Just a thought, but I think he might be referring to the extreme number of threads about Beck et al the last couple weeks.

Well, in fairness, when Beck runs his mouth and Palin twats her tweets... People talk. When they step outside the bounds of truth and reality, people call them out on it. Palin refuses to be interviewed by anyone other than FNC... Beck will devote an entire radio show and/or an hour of TV to defending one asinine comment he made; making more asinine comments in the process.

FYI - They're planning a 9/11 event in Alaska. The rumor is they've rented some big arena. People will talk.

So then why don't you post a thread about how people jump to conclusions with Obama or the mosque then?

Because that's been done by others plenty of times.

Does this thread make you uncomfortable?

Right, and no one else, anywhere, does anything like that. :rofl

How come you missed Rachel Maddow? Are you fond of her?

Maddow? She's about as dihonest as they come.
She tickles herself so much before she rags on a Republican I swear she's going to pee in her pants.
Remember her running that clip with the guy with his head and hand cropped off? He was carrying a large rifle of some kind and she was using that to talk about racism and possible violence at a town hall meeting over the HC bill. The thing is I think the guy was on the pro-HC-side demonstration. He was BLACK and they intentionally cropped that part out and talked of white racism on the right.
I never heard her apologize for that. What a surprise. But what can you expect from MSNBC.

Who's Ed Shultz again?

Kinda heavy set, right?

He's a big fat loud mouth that carries water for SEIU and the other unions. He smoozes with Al Sharpton and Ben Jealous from the NAACP. He's been critical of Obama lately. I guess the president isn't socialist enough for him.

Here's Ed Schultz for ya:
