House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in an interview that she opposes moving to impeach President Trump even though she believes he is “unfit” for office — her first definitive statement on the subject and one that stands to alienate members of her own Democratic Party who are intent on ousting the president.“I’m not for impeachment,” she said in a March 6 interview conducted for a future issue of The Washington Post Magazine.
“This is news,” she added. “I haven’t said this to any press person before. But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this, impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.”
‘I’m not for impeachment,’ Pelosi says, potentially roiling fellow Democrats
No collusion. No impeachment. No nothing.
Just not going your way, eh libs?
This is actually smart. Democrats are circling the drain right because of Ocasio-Cortez, Kamala, Oman, Booker, Bernie, etc, and this would only put 10 more nails in the coffin.

Nancy Pelosi is very pragmatic and she knows that waiting for the Mueller Investigation to wrap up before bringing an impeachment to vote is the most rational thing to do. We do not need impeachment at this moment, but that's not ruling out impeachment in the future.

So what changed between yesterday and today? Republicans in the Senate aren't going to agree to impeachment no matter what is found, so what did Pelosi's comment really change?
Well, duh. But it seems quite clear that she has seen no such 'something.'She said unless there is something really convincing and bipartisan.
You don't know that.
What if Mueller's report shows treason which exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors"? Do you really think so low of the Republicans?
Nobody takes those seriously.Sadly (for Trump supporters), the congressional investigations will not end anytime soon. Sure to last at least up until he is voted out of office.
My how things have changedThe Mueller investigation is actually last on my list of things to rely on.
I can't be the only one wondering what the hell happened to the thread title
My how things have changed
If Mueller showed "treason" then Republicans would argue that treason can't exist because we're not at war with Russia.
:bsIf you're a Republican, nothing hinges on what Mueller or anybody else says, but rather on what claims, beliefs or facts protect Donald Trump.
My how things have changed
It depends on what is found by Mueller.
:bs
You wear blinders
Nobody takes those seriously.
She said unless there is something really convincing and bipartisan. She is wise
Right. Because Republicans were so supportive of Mueller before Trump finally moved Sessions and Rosenstein out the door and replaced them with toadies. Then suddenly...like magic!...you trust in Mueller.
Well, duh. But it seems quite clear that she has seen no such 'something.'

Do you think so?
I think Americans are smart enough to know that having a blatantly racist POTUS like Trump is bad for the country. So no matter what his supporters threaten to do, I expect the rest of the country will happily rid itself of this flimflam artist.
