Well that fell apart faster than their grifts usually do. I mean it fell apart right from the start but now it just fell off the Earth. Why oh why white wingers do you keep letting con men make marks out of you for us to laugh at?
 
Remember when The Hill writers were all up in arms over the bogus stuff John Solomon was putting out? Yeah, this is pretty much the same thing, except Solomon's garbage didn't get out to much of a wide audience.

I wonder if the NY Post even bothered to reach out to the FBI first? Probably should have...
 
The FBI is investigating the story because of Russian manipulation of the election.

and because of Rudy's involvement.

No surprise that the story has gone dark. It was a farce from the start. Easily transparent on three counts:
- the back story for the discovery of the Hunter Hard Drive was LAUGHABLE but necessary because they could not say RUSSIA hacked Hunter's iCloud account now could they.
- the timing, clearly intended to force the FBI and Chris Wrey into the same box dopey James Comey found himself in at the end of the 2016 campaign. This was actually poor trade craft on the part of the Ruskies. This is such an obvious tell and Bozo the President has compelled so much in person early voting that this "release" of dirt is just a massive timing error. By the way, firing Dopey James Comey was one of the only good things Bozo the President has done because Dopey James Comey is .....well.......DOPEY!
- Choosing Rudy as their Human Russian Transmitter. They should have kept Rudy out of it. But Trump really does not trust many people and Rudy probably bullied his way into the spotlight for this task.

But it is a wonderful bit of muckraking propaganda. That part was pretty well executed by Russian Intel. Everything else around the collating of the material fell apart almost immediately. The result will not be good for Vlad, Donnie or Rudy as they are all three going to end up with their asses hung out in the wind. But Vlad is still ahead of the game. His Maligned Election Interference and destruction of the US Republic project is run on a shoestring and has been fabulously successful by any measure of Intel trade craft.

Rudy just needs to go to detox and make an effort to recover some sort of life. Donnie needs to go to jail.
