Perhaps so, because we all know that Humpty would never trade even the skin of his turds without a personal gain, quid pro quo. When was the last time he did anything with no dividend for HIMSELF?Perhaps there was a reason Putin made an effort to help Trump get elected.
Humpty as angling so blatantly and overtly bad for it...you can bet there will be a very, very strong push (pieces of silver included?) from the USA Admin, which will be equally hard for them to tell him to far cough.Trump thinks he has a shot at a Nobel Peace Prize so he wants to make it look like he alone brokered peace. It's nonsense. Putin will do what Putin wants to do regardless of anything Trump does. And the Norwegians will award Trump the Peace Prize the day after the Pope canonizes him.
Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, told reporters during a news briefing on Tuesday that the two men were expected to meet one on one. She described the meeting as a “listening exercise” for Mr. Trump, and said that seeing Mr. Putin would give him a better idea of the Russian leader’s plans.
“The president is agreeing to this meeting at the request of President Putin,” she said. “And the goal of this meeting for the president is to walk away with a better understanding of how we can end this war.”

A bit of back ground.
Link.
Can anyone explain to me why Humpty/USA seems to go out of his way to piss people off?
If Humpty really wanted to end the War, he would strangle Russia/Puin economically and arm Ukraine to the teeth. Nah, he has not done that, because that would upset his Pal, Vlad. Yes, this is all about Humpty and his bid for the Peace Prize.???
"skin of his turds"??
Is that some Aussie slang? What does it even mean?
Anyway, in regard to your OP, the article you linked made it clear about Trump's motivation to meet with Putin...and it has nothing to do with your nonsense.
But then, last week, after overtures from Mr. Putin, Mr. Trump shifted again. He hastily scheduled the Alaska meeting. This week, he told reporters he wanted to see what Mr. Putin had on his mind, and whether he could broker “a deal” on the war, including swaps of land currently held by Ukraine and Russia.
It's not at all about Trump. It's about possibly ending the war.
Yes, he does, but surely by now (everyone knows he is a narcissist) his advisors can handle and rein in this crap?Easily.
Trump is addicted to attention. It is his drug. He was severely neglected for attention as a child and learned that by being an asshole he could get attention.
Look at his big picture. He already had it made with great wealth. The only reason he got the idea he should be president was to get attention. Becoming president wasn't enough. He was immediately obsessed with crowd sizes. When he was mocked for that, it only caused his need for more attention to grow.
Giving him attention is like giving booze to a drunk. He only wants more. That's why he has to be on social media every day and all night. When that isn't enough, he resorts to doing asshole things. He has the attention of the entire world and still it isn't enough. Now, he has the idea that if he gets a Nobel Peace Prize it will finally get him the adoration of the entire world. Foolish, yes, but he doesn't think clearly. He has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The attributes describe him to a T: Check it out...
Symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder:
People with the disorder can:
- Have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration.
- Feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment.
- Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements.
- Make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are.
- Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate.
- Believe they are superior to others and can only spend time with or be understood by equally special people.
- Be critical of and look down on people they feel are not important.
- Expect special favors and expect other people to do what they want without questioning them.
- Take advantage of others to get what they want.
- Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others.
- Be envious of others and believe others envy them.
- Behave in an arrogant way, brag a lot and come across as conceited.
- Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office.
At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they view as criticism. They can:
The nutcase checks every single box!
- Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special recognition or treatment.
- Have major problems interacting with others and easily feel slighted.
- React with rage or contempt and try to belittle other people to make themselves appear superior.
- Have difficulty managing their emotions and behavior.
- Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change.
- Withdraw from or avoid situations in which they might fail.
- Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection.
- Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, humiliation and fear of being exposed as a failure.
You are a bit desperate with that 'Humpty" label arent you noob?If Humpty really wanted to end the War, he would strangle Russia/Puin economically and arm Ukraine to the teeth. Nah, he has not done that, because that would upset his Pal, Vlad. Yes, this is all about Humpty and his bid for the Peace Prize.
Why doesn't Trump tell Putin to get his ass out of Ukraine? Isn't that what he would have done if he had been President instead of Biden????

Hardly. His need and lust for power causes him to consider everyone else less and expendable. His favorite thing is to fire people. Everyone who works for him lives in fear of it. They know if they don't do what he wants, regardless of whether it is legal or good, they will be fired, insulted, ridiculed, cast out. The nation is littered with people who tried to work with him and got the same treatment. No figure has more tell-all books written abut him.Yes, he does, but surely by now (everyone knows he is a narcissist) his advisors can handle and rein in this crap?
Point of order: In American English, the proper term is "Lumpy."Seems that Humpty has been taught some diplomacy by the Europeans and has now acknowledged that he alone will not be able to resolve this matter. The EU/Europe cannot be excluded.
